Central site, loud daytime traffic

Raised without any improvements from €7 to €15. Witzenhausen deserves no better, since the pricing makes most motorhomes avoid the town. However, if you can cope with really high noise from the adjacent main road, parents' cars taking children to kindergarten in the mornings during the week, and parked cars and trucks occupying the few motorhome spaces at that price, then you should come here.✦Translating

Beautiful location, very central, a very short distance from a delicious brewery restaurant. One star deducted because of the price. Close to a sometimes noisy through road. But that is unavoidable with a central location and short distances. Regardless, we won't be staying here for the last time.✦Translating

December 5, 2025: 5 stars. We arrived and everything was free. Mobile reception possible at all spaces. Quite quiet despite the road. A delivery van took the space next to us in the evening even though it was marked for motorhomes. Good value for money, and thanks to the town. May 21, 2026: 1 star because the price was increased from €7 to €15, over 100% more, and the area was full of cars. The town no longer needs to offer a place like this.✦Translating

The parking area is absolutely fine. Four vehicles fit comfortably. Close to the center and a very good restaurant. Noisy road? Okay, then they should simply stay at home... the world is alive, after all. Thanks to the town.✦Translating

The place is good and there is plenty to discover, especially during cherry blossom season. Good opportunities for cycling. Unfortunately, a very busy road runs past, making daytime feel more like staying on a motorway emergency lane. Quiet at night, though.✦Translating

Nice spot for four cars. Close to the center. Near a beautiful park. Very close to a restaurant. The only downside is traffic early in the morning if you want to sleep late.✦Translating

We stayed here for one night. Space for four motorhomes, very tight. Water and waste services available. Very noisy during the day because of traffic, but very quiet at night. Brewery restaurant nearby.✦Translating
