Roadside site, narrow spaces

Acceptable for an overnight stop. The spaces are narrow even for a panel van. Cars pass very close to the motorhomes and there is some traffic at night. Beautiful view and a table available.

Beautiful spot with water and toilets, although it is beside the road. Hardly any cars drive on the street. Beautiful view over the valley with a stone picnic table that looks like wood. Thank you, municipality—great job.

Neat and reasonably quiet place to spend the night. We ate well at Café Fox.

Easy flat parking on the side of the road ( fold your wing mirror in) services ok. We had a quiet night. Toilets are clean. A 15 minute flat walk into the town where there are several bars and bakeries. Nice pastel de Natas. 2km away is a large intermarche with a petrol station and a washing machine station. We put our washing in and then went shopping.

Functional parking area for motorhomes of any length. The service facilities are flawless. Café Foz, 300 metres away, is highly recommended; the young waitress speaks good German. Fifty metres further on there is an excellent laundrette with two standard machines and one 13-kg machine. The dryer is just as large. All are Miele appliances.

We stopped only for lunch at Caffè Foz. We received a warm welcome; the owners speak French. We ate very well, and the quality and quantity of the food deserve mention. However, plan to pay the bill in cash, as foreign bank cards are not accepted. There is an ATM in town.

We didn't spend the night but seemed reasonably quiet. We had lunch at Foz Caffe which we also recommend. Pretty view, services, picnic tables and short walk to town centre.

A quiet place to sleep. Free grey- and black-water disposal and free water too. Quiet for spending the night, but there is light traffic in the morning, which is not very bothersome. Thanks to the town council for making this kind of effort for people who enjoy this type of tourism.

It is a balcony overlooking nature, close to a charming and lively town centre. We appreciated the toilets, water point, slate tables that are practical for cooking outdoors, and numerous bins. Unfortunately, Foz Café is closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays.

Good place for one or two nights. Very charming village, and the Prehistoric Museum is worth seeing.

Easy access, pleasant town, and Café Foz is very good for eating.

Good disposal facilities; the toilets were closed. Location beside the road, but the noise is limited. Enough space for larger motorhomes. Beautiful view over the valley.

Right beside the road but fine for sleeping. The service and disposal facilities are a plus, as is the nice Café Foz just a few steps away.

The parking area is nothing special, but fine for one night. The town is also completely unremarkable and provincial, but there is one thing: the Tã-Se Bem restaurant is highly recommended. Without the recommendation we would never have gone in, but the food is excellent and the owner, Adriano, guides you humorously and kindly through his creations.

Good for motorhome services and for spending one night while passing through. Beautiful mountain view. Tables available.

Place beside the road with some shade, picnic tables and water and waste services.

The emptying and filling services work and are well designed. There is a public toilet open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday. The parking area is a narrow, uneven road shoulder. Traffic is not bothersome at night, but barking dogs from a nearby kennel are. Thanks to the municipality for providing this space.

We arrived at nightfall in the rain because the Meda campsite was closed for the Easter weekend—not ideal for a van. Toilets closed from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. and also on public holidays, at least. Traffic and barking repeated several times during the night. If we had known, the nearby Santa Barbara or Coa Valley Archaeological Museum car parks would have seemed more pleasant.

Thank you to the municipality. Area with plenty of facilities. When we stayed, the toilets were closed, but everything else was working. A little noisy during the night. Some passing cars are disturbing. Excellent location within the town.

We arrived here just as it was turning dark, heard dogs barking and thought nothing of it. But it went on all night and moved to another area. If you can stand dogs barking 24/7 you will be ok.

It has the merit of existing. Beside the road. Indeed, there is barking from the dogs. It all calms down at night. Not ideal with a dog. We certainly did not feel like staying during the day.

We specifically drove to this place, but unfortunately the trees have grown so low and so far over the road that only a VW bus or similarly small campers can park there. Normal campers hit the trees, so it is unsuitable for large vehicles. What a shame—we drove on.

There is indeed a kennel below. But it was a quiet night, with very clean toilets. The site is beside the road but very quiet at night.

My worst night in Portugal because of the barking dogs from the kennel right next door. Very good for services only.
