Inclined parking, narrow approach

Great for parking and seeing the viewpoint, but if we had known, we would have come on foot instead of with the motorhome, as the streets are somewhat narrow. It is better to park at the motorhome area in Mieza; walking from there takes half an hour and is more pleasant. Once we got here, we considered sleeping there, but saw signs prohibiting overnight stays.

We came in September and had the place to ourselves; only a few locals passed by walking. The parking area is slightly sloped, but it is easy to park. Further on there is a picnic area with bins and tables, followed by a spectacular viewpoint.

Extensive work on dirt road at the moment so slight mud/sand. Road is not suitable for large vans and parking looks a lot smaller than pictures portrait. We walked from the camping car parking in the village which is 2.2 Kms away great views from view point well worth the walk.

Beautiful place to see the stars, the sky, the eagles that live there, and the lovely landscape of the Douro River. But be careful with the road and the trees.

Beautiful and peaceful place. At the entrance to the town there is a caravan parking area where it is possible to replenish water.

Charming and peaceful place to spend the night outside the village.

Good access and quiet after dark, once visitors stop coming to the viewpoint. We spent a very peaceful night. 100% recommended.

Perfect place to spend the night, quiet and next to the Code viewpoint. There was a nearby area with picnic tables.
