Quiet gravel parking, poor toilet

Quietly located. The toilet was a portable toilet, but it was neither unpleasant nor dirty. It was very clean. The lake is a 20-minute walk away. We stayed for one night and it was completely sufficient for us.✦Translating

A quiet overnight spot with a superb panoramic view! It is only five minutes by bicycle to Seebruck, where there is some infrastructure, including a restaurant and free toilets. You can also join the cycle path around Lake Chiemsee in the village.✦Translating

I cannot understand some of the good reviews. Okay, one star for the view and one star for the peace and quiet at night. It is an unattractive car park divided by ropes. Up to 7 metres is just about manageable, provided you are not packed in too tightly to leave. €15 for absolutely nothing is too much. They could at least install a rubbish bin. The gravelled site offers a beautiful view. You can spend the night comfortably and peacefully. I can understand the municipality charging €15 per night, since some campers simply leave their rubbish in the middle of the site. On the other hand, a rubbish bin in the car park would also be useful.✦Translating

The municipality introduced the parking fee because the site was so polluted. A portable toilet was installed. That says it all. The parking fee now includes, among other things, visitor tax and site cleaning. Local residents and campsite owners also complained. Nice pitch for one overnight stay. Recently, overnight parking for motorhomes became chargeable: €15 from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. via the Parkster app, zone 83019. Quiet at night, and the bakery and boat landing for excursions are quickly reachable in town.✦Translating

There is a sign up now stating that overnight parking/ camping is no longer allowed here, so we did not stay here. Would probably be fine during the day time as a rest stop.

Actually a nice place, but a notice has been posted asking people to use the surrounding campsites instead and not stay overnight, with a warning that inspections take place. We drove on.✦Translating
