Simple, no-frills campsite near Port Camargue lake with bike path to Espiguette beach and horse ranches nearby. €15–€23/night plus €5–€7 electricity (2 people). Sandy ground, no shade on pitches. Restaurant on-site; sanitary facilities clean but basic. Mosquitoes present. Pitches small; staff friendly but service variable.

Quite pleasant, clean and well-maintained campsite. €20.44 for one night with an electric pitch. Without the many mosquitoes, we would have stayed much longer. What a shame...
Very simple, somewhat old-fashioned campsite. We spent one night there with our children, aged two and four, in a van. The pitches are small, but since there was hardly anyone there, the children had plenty of space to run around. We paid €20 per night.
Simple and solid campsite. The restaurant is good.
Great simple and friendly campsite. Very warm welcome from the owners. Relatively few people, but we were there in April. The sanitary facilities are very clean and the shower water is nice and hot. The only drawback is that the dishwashing sinks do not have hot water; you have to get it from another tap at the end of the row, but it is not very hot. The small restaurant next door is also very pleasant and the food is excellent.
Ideally located beside a lake giving access to Port Camargue and close to ranches where you can go horseback riding. Simple but clean, and we had a delicious meal in the campsite restaurant.
Great value campsite with friendly receptionist and staff. Do not the look out you off staying here it had everything we needed inc toilet waste drop and hot showers for 15 euro a night. We declined the EHU at 5 euros. There was no grey waste drop. The restaurant did a 2 course lunch plus drink for 15 euros pp. Fantastic beach less than 2kms away.
Friendly staff, large pitches (mostly level), nice permanent campers and a great price—€18 for two people, a dog and a van. Hot water in the showers, though the sanitary facilities could be cleaner and better maintained (many cobwebs). The surroundings are extremely touristy, but the campsite cannot be blamed for that.
Nice campsite where you feel at home.
Small, unpretentious campsite. The ground is sandy, so it quickly gets everywhere inside the motorhome. Upon arrival without a reservation, I was told there were only pitches without electricity. A shame, because the campsite was almost empty and there were outlets available. If you are on foot, be aware that the campsite is far from everything—beach and town center.
We spent one night during a heatwave, but there was not a bit of shade. Black dirt ground gets everywhere. Indifferent staff. The electrical outlet is locked; you need the caretaker to connect and disconnect it. Not a very pleasant campsite.
For the price, it was okay. Unfortunately, the pitches have no shade and the children are still noisy after 10 p.m. Best not to stay near the playground. €7 for electricity is a bit much. We paid €23 per night for two people plus €7 for electricity. No problems with mosquitoes. There were no mosquitoes at all.
Very unpleasant campsite staff!!!! They do not keep their promises. We were thrown out when we wanted to stay a little longer, even though there was plenty of space!!! Dirty sanitary facilities and major electrical problems. Voltage drops, and they do not want to know anything about it.
Easy access by bicycle to the beach and town center. No possibility of filling or dumping water, but cassette emptying is possible. Little shade but lots of space. Very good sanitary facilities and hot showers. Very reasonable price. We will return.
Family campsite, quiet. Adequate sanitary facilities. Not far from the center of Le Grau-du-Roi. Shops nearby. We have already been here and will return without hesitation.
The campsite is worth it only for the price, about €21 for a camper, two people and a dog. The pitches are not well leveled and are muddy (I do not want to imagine what it is like when it rains!). The showers are outdated and the water is never hot. Electricity is provided, but access to the hookup is only handled by staff, so to leave you have to walk to reception, pay, and then they come to disconnect the cable. I would not return.
Spent three nights; we will come back.
Campsite neither near the town nor the beach, old-fashioned (no toilet paper, one brush for four toilets, narrow shower, etc.), no large shaded areas, little play space for children. The price is not too expensive (€28 for five people). Neither good nor bad; the people in charge are very friendly.
We have been coming for eight years at this time of year. This family campsite suits us very well: very warm welcome, quiet, restaurant, hot bread and croissants in the morning, and a cycle path to Le Grau-du-Roi, Aigues-Mortes and the beach. We spend 8 to 10 restful days here.
Very reasonable low-season price for the area: €15.44 for two people without electricity. The sanitary facilities are adequate, and reception welcomed us even after 7 p.m. What more could we ask for when arriving with our rooftop tent!
The site is fine. A pitch was assigned, but it is better to choose one yourself within the possibilities. Unfortunately, gray water cannot be dumped, and the dishwashing water is lukewarm at best. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. Baguettes and croissants are available at the restaurant, and the quality is very good.
September 6, 2024. We come here every year for a few days. €15.44 per night for a pitch for two adults without electricity. Same prices since 2022. Quiet, spacious, clean sanitary facilities; the only small drawback is that the water is merely lukewarm. Convenient cycle path. I recommend it.
Great campsite! Simple facilities but very clean. We were there at the beginning of September and it was very quiet. No reservation was necessary. Nice shady pitches and very peaceful. At the beginning of September, we paid €15/night for two people with a rooftop tent. Highly recommended!
Friendly welcome. A little disappointed because electricity was not available, nor was it possible to empty gray water or fill fresh water. Lovely quiet, secure spot for spending the night. On the other hand, the beach is accessible by bike a few kilometers away, very pleasant, with a beautiful beach at the end!
