This simple riverside motorhome area beside the Moselle offers level pitches, shade and views across the river to Zell. The price is 12€ per night without electricity, while showers at the nearby campsite cost 2€ for 3 minutes. Zell is 15-20 minutes away on foot across the bridge, with restaurants, wine bars, a bakery and cycling routes nearby. A public toilet is about 400 m away, and construction noise has recently been heard across the river.

By the river, under a large horse chestnut tree; in this heat, the shade is essential. This location, along the road and parallel to the river, costs €12, without an electrical hookup. You can use the facilities in the enclosed area and take a shower for €2 for 3 minutes. Very good!
Simple, nice parking spot opposite Zell. Sanitary facilities are available at the campsite, with lovely hiking and cycling opportunities.
Beautiful spot directly by the water; outside the holiday season it is not a problem finding a space. Zell is within walking distance and has a beautiful old town. At the campsite 400 metres away there are free public toilets and bread rolls in the morning. There is currently a construction site on the other side of the Moselle, so there is some noise.
A very nice place for €12 per night. However, there is no electricity. For that, you would have to go to the campsite or the other parking area nearby. If you are not there in the evening when the cashier comes, you get a little bag attached to your window. You put the €12 in it and throw it into the mailbox on the site. I think that is a good option :D
Beautiful spot, front row on the Moselle. Lovely view of Zell. Minor criticism: some people stand rather close together at the front. The price is okay. We would gladly return.
Beautiful, peaceful parking spot directly on the Moselle. Little traffic. It is a 15–20-minute walk across the bridge to the other side, to Zell. There are an ice-cream shop, restaurants (Pizzeria Duo recommended) and wine bars there. Cycle path right outside. Very nice here. €12 without electricity. A little farther ahead there is another parking area with electricity.
Lovely place. I was glad there was still a longitudinal space along the bank, because the other spaces were terribly close together. The night is wonderfully quiet because it is not on a busy road; you only hear the birds and boats passing by. Highly recommended! A campsite with reception, showers, water, rubbish containers, etc. is 300 metres away. Cash payment.
Great place, level, quiet and with a beautiful view of the Moselle.
Everything is fine here. Thanks to the municipality.
Great parking spot with a view of the Moselle and spacious pitches.
Great place, wide pitches, no electricity, no toilet, no shower, but during Corona access was possible with an extra charge. Beautiful location and wonderful views directly over the Moselle. Happy to come again.
Wonderful views of the Moselle and vineyards. A public toilet and a shower (€2) can be used at the campsite. Waste disposal is also possible. A friendly attendant comes by in the evening to collect payment. Everything is very nice here. We would happily come again.
Very quiet at night. Very well located for reaching the town center via the footbridge. €12 is a fair price for the region.
First row directly on the Moselle, excellent! The path is also used by many pedestrians and others. Someone came by in the early evening to collect payment. If needed, there is a toilet at the campsite 500 m away, secured by a chip-operated door. Access is probably through reception, with a donation. The toilet on the other side of the Moselle, 800 m away, is spotlessly clean, although it now requires 50 cents to enter. We would come again!
Beautiful pitch directly on the Moselle, with the little town within walking distance. A campsite with clean showers and toilets is next door. Great for one night!
A small note about the pitch: payment is only collected by an attendant at the motorhome in the evening. In the campsite building, about 400 m away, there is a clean public toilet.
A wonderfully beautiful, quiet pitch with everything you need nearby. Zell is about 5–10 minutes away on foot across the bridge. Very peaceful location. The campsite is also about a 5-minute walk away, with fresh bread rolls and a small shop. Zell has many restaurants, ice-cream parlors and wine stalls. We would happily come again :) Around 7 p.m. the site warden collects the fee. If you are not there, there is an envelope on the windshield; put it with your €12 into the mailbox next to the information board. Large numbered pitches. The birdsong in the morning is the best :) We will definitely return. Showers and toilets are available at the campsite for a fee, as are gray-water and chemical waste disposal.
This is a great motorhome place to stop for a night. We parked facing the river. The campsite reception is at least 300m away but the staff there were very helpful & showed us the free toilets, & showers for 2 euros (for 3 mins). I haven't washed my hair and showered so quickly before! Easy walk into Zell on the other side of the river. Well worth the money. Want electric? Go to the sister site
First row on the Moselle, very quiet. No services, but only €12.
Great place directly on the Moselle, unfortunately no electricity! But perfectly fine for €12. We will come again.
Very beautiful location. Easy payment. Food and drink nearby are also fine. The wines especially deserve a mention. If you park at the very back, it is a bit of a walk to the toilet and trash bin.
Now €12, having started four years ago at €7 and costing €9 last year.
It is a nice place to stay, but nobody came to collect payment. Since we are honest, we walked the 500 m to the campsite. There we were asked to pay €12. The sign at the motorhome area says €11 from November 2024 to May 2025. The lady at the campsite said it was outdated (we are here in February 2025), but she did not want to argue. Afterwards she checked whether I had lied. Unfriendly!
Great place for one night. Walking distance to the center via the pedestrian bridge. We paid €11, collected by the attendant in the early evening. If you are not there, you will find a note asking you to put the money in the mailbox next to the information board.
