Mountain valley, camping restrictions

Great spot! As previously mentioned, don’t let the local man scare you. He told us the police come by at 22:00 to give fines. We said, “no problem. We’ll take the risk.” Obviously, Italian police will never come up here. Man left, and we had a wonderful night.

27/7/24 don't let the locals scare you. No sign where i park. One local drove by. He told me, no camping. I have car. I asked him, you police? he didn't understand and said police come every 10 hours. I was police. Police don't waste time driving up a huge hill just to tell people not sleep. No police during the night/day. Clean drinking water near the top, next to the road. Lots of mosquitos !

Beautiful pitch, but the locals absolutely do not want camping behaviour! Leave tables, chairs and awnings in the vehicle!

Excellent spot, but very difficult to reach with a 6-metre motorhome because of several extremely tight hairpin bends.

Very good spot. Narrow road uphill, but it is fine in a van. Generally quiet, with a few vehicles passing in the morning. Quite level.

Very good spot bordering a road, but with very little traffic. The spot offers a beautiful view over the valley. I recommend it.

Would have rated a five but there were many pesky mosquitoes that swarmed us on arrival! It didn’t takeaway the amazing view and quiet spot but giving heads up! Nice big area, mostly flat and quiet road.

Super beautiful sleeping place for at least three campervans. The road is very narrow and partly in poor condition. Therefore only suitable for small vehicles and experienced drivers! Otherwise a very beautiful place, with lots of mosquitoes!
