Been here?
A private family parking place near El Palmar beach, but recent visits describe it as neglected and poor value. The ground has no shade, brambles, animal droppings, and an unlockable gate, while the toilets and showers have been reported dirty, cold, or poorly maintained. Entry is difficult, with one 6m van scraping the ground. The beach is about five minutes away, and a group caused nighttime noise until 4am.

All other parking's full, stayed one night. Expensive for what it is. No shade, level ground with bramble. No security just unlockable gate. Lovely friendly Goose wondering around. A group of 12 teenagers came in the grounds at 1.30am & was noisy until 4am, we had to tell them to stop trying to hurt the goose. We used our own toilet & shower but the toilet isnt the best if you have to use it
It is, without a doubt, an absolute nightmare! I strongly recommend that everyone NOT go to this place. The risk of damaging your vehicle is high. What a jungle: animal droppings everywhere. The grounds are completely neglected. The ‘shed’ that you would think was an animal pen turns out to be the toilet—impossibly dirty. We left the next morning. What a nightmare!
A terrible place for campers. Far too expensive for what it offers. Dirty toilets, no shade, and goose droppings and stray cats everywhere. And an uninterested owner. Don’t go here! The only positive thing is that it is a stone’s throw from the sea at El Palmar de Vejer.
I do not recommend it. The entrance is terrible; my 6-meter van scraped the ground when entering and leaving even though I was careful. The grounds are completely neglected and the services are practically nonexistent. He charged us €35, although he had told me by phone that it was €25 per night for four people. There he said it was €10 more because he had forgotten to tell me that €25 was for two people and two additional people cost €10. Horrible.
Thanks for the spontaneous adventure. We really enjoyed it. Anyone looking for peace and the nearby sea will be in the right place here. No luxury, but there is a little ‘princess toilet.’
A wonderfully peaceful place where you can hear the sound of the sea. It is five minutes from the beautiful beach of El Palmar. Clean dry toilet. Very friendly owner. Shops 15 minutes away on foot.
Good location and the girl was very friendly.
A very well-located place if you want to enjoy El Palmar’s beaches and get away from the pub and nightclub areas, which are quite noisy. The owner was very friendly! Too expensive for what it offers: dirty showers, no lighting, and cold water. If you arrive late, you do not see the dirt in detail, so… The dry toilet was also unhygienic, and the pitch was not well maintained. No dumping or filling allowed. €25 per night.
Mar is a 10 out of 10 host. It is a place with just the necessary services, all in good condition, and not too far to walk from the beach. A pleasure, and we would come back.
What an amazing place!!! Mar is the boss—always wonderful and treating us as if we were at home… because it was her home!!! The showers are adequate, and the toilet is not bad either! One drawback? I could have made soup from the rooster next door… haha, but everything else was luxurious!!! Would repeat.
Mar is lovely, first of all. The grounds are neglected, with tall dry grass, so you have to jump around; there are many anthills, a dry toilet, and cold showers that are not very clean, with cobwebs. No shade at all. I understand that it is a private hosting arrangement, but at this price of €25, without dumping, filling, or hot water, it seems excessive. I would not return!
