Unnamed Road, 440 01, Melissourgi
Been here?
This is a basic mountain refuge with a small parking area rather than a conventional campsite. Showers are in the forest, and the facilities are basic; the restaurant serves good food. The refuge is run by friendly people, and a pleasant 1 hour hike leads to the Kefalovryso waterfalls. Access can be difficult for larger vehicles, especially a 7 m camper, so avoid the steep concrete track and use the better route 300m beside it.

basic refuge with very nice people running it. highly recommended. there is also a very nice 1 hour hike to kefalovryso waterfalls.
Nice place, especially the restaurant! Like a bivouac.Translating
Not a campsite, but a shelter with a small parking area. The shelter is nice, the parking area less so. In April 2024, the shelter was officially closed. The dogs greeted us noisily, then peacefully wandered off. Access: Do not take the steep concrete track; 300 m farther on there is a good asphalt road. The last section is gravel, apparently recently prepared, and manageable with a T6.Translating
Ok place, but a bit quiet hard to climb the last bit with a T5 Van. About 6 barking dogs on site. We went to the other refugee Pramanton. The climb was beter and the field pretty level, remote and clean. The hiking trails pas both huts.
The place looked very nice and we received a very friendly welcome by phone. Unfortunately, we could not access it with our 7-meter camper because the gravel road is extremely difficult to drive on and unsuitable for our type of vehicle! What a shame.Translating
