Route des Quatre Chansons, 34200, Sète
Been here?
A large free beach car park in quieter periods, with direct access to the beach and quick access to Sète. The height barrier is 2.20 m; in summer, an 8€ ticket was valid for 24h, with nights free. A free toilet is at the eastern exit. The train and nearby evening activity create some noise, although recent stays reported relatively quiet nights.

Late May 2026, it is close to the huge beach, with few people. Perfect for a short nap in the sun, and I will try the small restaurant tonight, which looks decent.
Height barrier at 2.20 m, direct access to the beach, free parking at this time of year. The train quietens down at night, and there is quick access to Sète.
Height restriction at the end of October.
We arrived in the afternoon (height 2.20 m) and bought an €8 parking ticket, which was valid for 24 hours (as parking is free at night). We had a relatively quiet night. A few cars could still be heard in the evening, and train traffic started again in the morning. Free toilet at the eastern exit of the car park. The beach shower (without shower gel) can be used in the middle of Bar La Canopée, even without buying anything.
The height barrier is broken at one of the two entrances. A few motorhomes stayed discreetly; we know how to respect places. Just two steps from the sea—great.
Large car park (2.20 m height) at a beautiful beach. The toilet was clean. The cost is absolutely reasonable; checks are carried out in a friendly manner in the morning. The train is very close and loud, but we still slept well for one night. A second night was not possible because intoxicated young people drove around the entire car park in cars with loud music. Very frightening—we left at 3:20 a.m.
We arrived in a T5 with a roof rack and surfboards on it. We had three good, free nights. The noise level is acceptable. There is a large calisthenics park to the right and a toilet to the left; you can also refill water. The beach loungers at the adjacent bar cost €20 each.
Large car park, so even in summer you can find a space in the evening. Free at night. We stayed there for three nights in the van and slept very well. The adjacent bars were not disruptive, and it was not noisy either.
Very noisy: train, road, beach bar, and young people with music blasting all night. You cannot sleep.
Convenient because it is large and has toilets. Very close to the beach. Parking prohibited for caravans, and I think there is a 2.20 m barrier. We slept there in April 2023. There were few people in the evening. It must be different in summer. Quite noisy because of the road nearby.
Beach parking, paid during the day and free at night, with no services. There were showers (the beach showers), but in September they were not operating due to restrictions. The worst thing was the mosquitoes—be very careful—because of its location between marshes.
Very good for spending the night. A little noisy until 1 a.m. because of the nearby restaurants, but still acceptable.
Large, level car park. Half of it is lit, so you can choose whether to park under lamps or in the dark. Paid during the day (see photo). Still very busy in the evening because of the adjacent restaurants, at least on weekends. I came for the showers and toilets, but unfortunately both are out of order.
