La Méridienne, 63960, Veyre-Monton
Been here?
Motorway service-area parking with several places, picnic tables, clean toilets, showers, laundry and a beautiful view. Free showers are available by requesting the key at La Croissanterie and leaving a car key as a deposit. The area is generally clean, but the motorway can be noisy and there are no shaded parking spaces. Access includes 1.5 km of poor dirt road with large potholes after rain, a sharp entrance turn and many trucks.

Please mention that after the rain you have to drive 1.5 km on a very poor dirt road with large potholes, and on arrival there is a very sharp turn into the entrance. It is also full of trucks.
We used the free shower here. The shower was a bit disgusting because there was a toilet in it, but it was okay. Otherwise, the rest area seemed very clean, welcoming and above average. We did not want to sleep here because there were no shaded parking spaces and the motorway is too loud.
Free showers. Ask for the key at La Croissanterie, leave a deposit such as your car key, and enjoy unlimited hot water.
A really beautiful, large and clean parking area. Perfect for spending a night there. It is pleasantly quiet, and the next morning you can buy fresh croissants and coffee. The toilets are clean and free.
Convenient parking for one night with free toilets and showers. You can hear some motorway noise from the A75, but if you are very tired it will not bother you ;)
Showers are free here. Just ask for the key at the counter/cash desk. The toilets are clean, including toilet paper. Small playground and many picnic tables.
Ideal for a stopover from Saturday to Sunday. It was quiet and we felt safe among the other delivery vans and campers.
A very peaceful overnight stopover. A place to keep in mind.
Both service points are out of order. Parking is too close to the noisy motorway.
There are two service points, one on the truck side and one on the car side. For water, you need a token. For emptying the toilet and gray water, I think you have to empty onto the ground because there is a drain along one side. Not really ideal for emptying gray water. Currently, the service point in the car park is out of order.
