This isolated, slightly sloping parking area lies near the Forester's House, surrounded by trees in a preserved area. It is 500m below the Kaiserturm and has a hiking sign. Overnight parking is very quiet and undisturbed, but the area becomes busy around midday with walkers and mountain bikers. It suits self-sufficient travellers.

We spent two nights here and enjoyed walks in the nearby woods. We woke to birdsong. There is some passing foot traffic. Free toilets are available at the monastery. Only two level spaces. Very good during this sunny spring.
