26 Calle del Mediodía, 49026, Zamora
Been here?
This free riverside parking area is close to Zamora’s cathedral, castle and historic centre, with a quiet riverside walk and cycle path. Recent comments describe beautiful views and peaceful nights, but only 3 motorhome spaces, with difficult access for vehicles around 7m. Some spaces have very low branches, and nearby fountains are difficult to use for filling water. Toilets are available at the adjacent Watermills Visitor Center during opening hours.

Wonderful. Beautiful view of the Douro and the cathedral. Two steps from everything. Next to a Romanesque church and the Olivares watermills. Very quiet for sleeping. Safe. We recommend it.
Very narrow; there are only three spaces for motorhomes, maximum seven metres, and they already obstruct things. They are so close together that you can barely open the doors. Access for motorhomes is also difficult; my seven-metre vehicle had to use the exit and reverse. Better for campers.
We slept very well, it was quiet, with walkers in the morning, and cool thanks to the river. No flies or mosquitoes, which is important! There is a little beach opposite where we spent the afternoon cooling off, with showers and toilets. Highly recommended!
A spectacular place to spend the night, very quiet near the centre, without noise and with shade. There are two water fountains nearby. Highly recommended.
Great stop over to visit the City and the Cathedral, Palace, Castle and Gardens. Lot's of nice walks along the river with little park areas to sit and eat. Busy til about 9pm then very peaceful all night until around 9am. Many dog walkers and runners along the river path next to the parking. The water taps don't work.
Not suitable for motorhomes, only small vans. Difficult access.
Wonderful overnight spot. The perfect parking area for bus campers visiting the city. Everything is within walking distance. I am staying here another day to relax. Tomorrow I will continue on.
It is a good spot located next to the historic centre, mostly shaded, with a nice park to enjoy.
Perfect place to spend the night. No noise, next to the river, with a fountain. Although there are quite a lot of spaces, only three vans were here, even though it was 2 August. Recommended.
Perfect, discreet and quiet, facing the river. Shaded spaces, ideally located next to the walls. I recommend it.
