Agricamping Lo Zafferano is a simple farm stay with spacious grass pitches, electricity, water, disposal facilities, and farm animals roaming freely. The sanitary block is dated but generally clean and functional, with showers whose temperature can vary. The farm is 3 km from the sea and 2 km from Albenga’s historic center, though nearby amenities are not easily reached on foot. Local products, breakfasts, and Saturday evening pizza are available.

Kind welcome, friendly atmosphere, and good farm products. Unfortunately, nothing is within walking distance, which is usually important to us. Access is somewhat difficult; you have to pay close attention to where to turn into the site. Wi-Fi is weak.
A small, very simple farm campsite at an oil producer, but worth the detour. We were accompanied by chickens and geese. You can order breakfast the day before, as well as the margherita pizzas, which I recommend. Life is very peaceful and we lacked nothing: water, gray- and black-water disposal, electricity, and Wi-Fi all worked very well.
Helpful staff even without a reservation. Pitches with little shade provided by olive trees. The prefabricated bathroom block needs improvement. Shower-water temperature was somewhat variable.
Nice farm campsite with very spacious pitches. Quick email replies and friendly owners. The sanitary facilities are dated but very clean and functional. Overnight stay is free when buying farm products. We reached it easily with our almost 8 m camper van via SP 39 and then the shortest section. Not really a good walking area with the dog; we took him by bicycle trailer to a dog exercise park.
Very nice, I recommend it. The hosts are very friendly. Drinking water and electricity available. Several animals. Local products: wine, cheese, focaccia, and olive oil. A very enjoyable stay.
Pros: The owner is very flexible and friendly. The price is fair for the services offered. The free-roaming animals and greenery connect you with nature; it feels like being at home. There is a barbecue. The camper space is large. Clean bathrooms. Cons: The shower works with a push button that ends very quickly. The hot water is not constant. Summary: 100% recommended.
Very nice farm campsite. Comfortable pitches with electricity, clean bathrooms and hot showers, and sinks for washing dishes. Surrounded by greenery. The owner is kind, and the chickens and ducks roam freely. A beautiful place; we had a great time.
We recommend this place: very clean toilets, a wonderful welcome, and an affordable price.
A beautiful paradise with everything you need. Daniele and his family are very warm and make sure you lack nothing. The geese, ducks, and chickens provide entertainment—wonderful ;-) You can drop off your laundry bag, and for €10 it comes back washed and dried. There is a market in Albenga on Wednesdays and in Alassio on Saturdays. We will gladly come back. S+A
We really enjoyed this place. Authentic, owner (also the farmer) is friendly and makes time even in winter to sell his olive oil and freshly made cheese. Shower has a bit of a manual but does get nice and hot, and shower and toilet are cleaned every day. We found the place a great base to visit Albegna by bike. Its a 10 minute ride and though the roads are busy, Italian drivers are used to bikes
Location far from everything, 2 toilets and two UNHEATED showers for more than 30 campers, shower water hot intermittently, dishwashing sink without lighting, basic black-water disposal, and finally a high price for the services offered—surely we will NOT return.
Meh, expensive for what it is. The hot-water system in the showers is very unreliable, and they smell of mildew. Access to the city center is not very pleasant by bike, with lots of traffic. If you really have no choice, it is okay for one night, but otherwise it is not worth the price.
It was good. Really nothing bad to say, it just didn't stuck in our minds as a great spot with something unique. It has everything you need and some farm animals on top of that. Nice stay.
I would like to point out the following to Ms. Isabelle Forest, who complains that she was not given bread: the bread was given to her as a gift, while she did not request pizza, so she cannot say it was unavailable. As for the rooster, this is a farm, not a campsite, so it is normal for there to be animals.
AVOID... The owner knows his rooster sleeps in this tree but put us right underneath it even though there was plenty of space farther away, next to other French visitors. The rooster crowed all night, we did not sleep, and the owner found it funny. In addition, it was Saturday and we chose this stop to taste the pizza and good bread, but there was nothing. The oven remained off.
Small, family-run site on an organic farm. Showers and toilets are basic but always clean, with paper and soap. Friendly welcome, lots of information, and the possibility of buying farm products. Geese, chickens, ducks, and the cat regularly come by—we love it! Albenga is easy to reach, and it is very quiet at night. We stayed two nights and felt very comfortable.
The pitches are spacious, but the sanitary facilities are very dilapidated, with the shower and toilet next to each other—so much for privacy. The presence of the free-ranging geese, ducks, and chickens is not bothersome, except for the droppings. Located very far from the beaches; we did not receive the meal/breakfast service.
Large pitches, partly shaded by olive trees. Fresh water and gray-water services, electricity, clean sanitary facilities, and a sink with hot water are available. We especially loved the animal neighbors, such as runner ducks and a mule! Various good bicycles can be rented for €8 per day, making it about 10 minutes to the beach or Albenga.
Nothing to say, a small family campsite with a few pitches like a campground. The chickens and geese roam around, and the best part is the Italian breakfast in the morning amid the greenery, at tables among the trees: a small cheese omelet, delicious. Nothing to say except five stars.
We happened upon this place by chance. A true oasis of peace and tranquility. It has everything needed: toilets, electricity, gray- and black-water disposal. Above all, excellent extra-virgin olive oil and delicious homemade cheese. We will return. You can stay overnight for free by purchasing €35 worth of farm products.
I returned last week after a couple of years to this agricultural campsite. It is even nicer, with the greenery well maintained. An oasis of peace. It is true that the showers had a problem, but only for a couple of days because of a boiler failure—nothing serious. The place is worthwhile even if you have a lukewarm shower. We will return again.
The site is nice, has enough space, and is a good starting point for mountain-bike tours. The sanitary facilities are catastrophic. There are three showers; only the one in the family cabin works reasonably well. The other two are usually cold. The owner's dog roams freely, which is not the problem, but it constantly barks at people on the neighboring properties, at all hours.
Very quiet place surrounded by nature. It is lovely to have chickens wandering around the area, and it is ideal for children. It is 2 km from the historic center and 3 km from the sea. Recommended.
The site is unpaved, far from the city and sea, full of flying insects in summer; everything seems improvised and has not developed further. The sanitary facilities are from another era. There is a reason no Italians stay there: it is simply too expensive for them. The naive Germans apparently pay any price. Up to €38 is clearly far too much.
Very friendly welcome. Quiet place, although the dogs sometimes bark. €6 all-inclusive. Good cheese and tapenade. Thank you.
Beautiful, quiet camper area among greenhouses and olive trees. Very welcoming and helpful operators. Possibility of buying farm products, with a discount on the stay.
Thank you for being open in winter and charging €20 all-inclusive. Drinking water, gray water, black water, electricity, recycling bins, sanitary facilities, hot shower, and toilet emptying. The only slight drawback: the dog barked a lot during the night, and the showers are rather basic and unheated.
Beautiful and green site in rather bleak surroundings. By bicycle, you can reach the sea or the lovely town in about 10 minutes. Sanitary facilities are basic and clean. Very warm welcome. The rooster wakes you early, and the free-ranging dog unfortunately pees on everything—vehicle, camping furniture, and so on—if you are not there to keep watch.
Friendly, simple, uncomplicated, quiet. Basic but clean sanitary facilities.
Good place for a peaceful night on this busy coast. A little difficult to find, but we probably came from the wrong direction. Very friendly owners. Sanitary facilities function, but could use an upgrade.
Very good stop for one night, a little far from everything for a longer stay, unless you want to rest or have bicycles. Very quiet at the farm; you will be woken by the rooster.
Everything great. Small but lovely. In high season, definitely reserve; we were there in October and had plenty of space. Laundry can be washed and dried, costing €3 each. Animals roam freely: a few chickens, geese, and a dog. Horses are next door and can be petted. Anyone who spends more than €30 in the farm shop gets one free night. They sell pesto, olive oil, and wine.
Ptebooking via website/email is desired. Entry only until 22:00. 20 eur in September (low season), decent showers and toilets, all motorhome services included. Also grill is available. Very good place!
It's a very simple camper area with old facilities (for that price 35 eur). On the photos it looks alot better than in reality. We were tired after a long drive so we spent the night, otherwize I'd look for another place.
A peaceful place where it is pleasant to spend the late afternoon, with a warm welcome and local products for sale.
Excellent agricultural campsite. The hosts are very welcoming, and although they mainly speak Italian, they manage to make themselves understood with lots of joy and humor. The products are excellent, and you can get a free night if you buy products worth the price of the night (€30 for us). I highly recommend it!
30€/Night. Very clean sanitary. Small city is nice, beaches are very crowded and small. Sea is nice. Some animals horses, ducks a sheep and also a loud rooster! ;) No traffic noise. a swing for kids. Surrouning is dystopian style everywhere weared down greenhouses. For 1-2 Nights ok! City is nice for a visit by bycicle. The other campings look much worse down the beach.
