Village motorhome area, limited services

Very quiet night at this beautiful site. Flat ground, electricity. Due to abuse and bad behaviour, services are restricted to 08:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00!!!

Very disappointed on arriving at the aire to empty and refill the water. The opening hours are posted, but when you are simply passing through and your toilet is full, it is not ideal.

Banon is very beautiful and worth seeing. At the market we bought cheese and vegetables—we wanted to eat at one of the restaurants in the evening, but after teenagers played football on the parking area in the afternoon, although it is forbidden there (there is a small sports field next door they could use), we left again! Absolutely unsuitable for those seeking peace and quiet—such a shame!

Nice little spot on the edge of the beautiful village. Fine view—unfortunately primarily of the “pump track,” as it is apparently called. Whoever comes up with such things… I understand the long-term visitors—an atmosphere like a schoolyard. Otherwise: eat Banon cheese and be happy.

An aire we used to like and that deserved 4 stars, but there is now a pump park; it is like the school playground. So minus 2! Good for parking while visiting, that's all! Currently the services are unavailable (winter shutdown).

Very nice parking area, quiet, convenient and clean services, toilets and shops very close. In the off-season it is perfect. In summer there is not yet any shade, so it is hot. Thank you to the Banon town hall.

I have been coming to this aire for more than 10 years; unfortunately, it has changed over time... the view is still beautiful, the village is very nice, with hiking trails, a restaurant, a bookshop... but now during the day, it sometimes feels like parking in a school playground. Quiet night. Parking shared with cars.

The motorhome aire now overlooks a pump track that has replaced a natural area. We only parked there to have lunch at Les Voyageurs restaurant, which we recommend.

Pleasant aire, evening entertainment until midnight due to its proximity to the pétanque court and skate park, but a quiet night. Electricity at the lighting pole 24/7, 16 amps. Payment collected by the caretaker at 8:30 a.m., €8. Market on Saturday morning at the upper part of the aire, 100 m away. Useful shop 100 m away. Beware, the aire is closed from 31 July to 4 August. Pretty Provençal village to visit, including the church.

The aire reopened on 15 July 2025. Services are already accessible.

The aire is closed until 16 July, until the inauguration of the pump park.

Aire currently closed following the creation immediately beside it of a BMX track area, suggesting that peace and quiet may subsequently be disrupted in the evening and early at night... what a shame!

Attention: part of the aire is closed until 1 June for construction work (creation of a sports and recreation site right next to the aire). Parking is tolerated on the rest of the aire, but there are no services!

I spoke to the Mairie yesterday, 3rd April, and was told that the aire will be closed until 1st June.

Very quiet and secure aire. I live 70 m away and can confirm that it is completely closed for construction until mid-March. In addition, grey- and black-water drainage and water refilling are closed from December to March because of frost. Electricity and toilets remain accessible all year round. Hope to see you in my village!

Very good! Quiet night, beautiful view... Small grocery store nearby, unfortunately no croissants today! Very friendly man collecting the overnight fee... I recommend it and thank the municipality!

Very nice, spacious, flat aire with easy access. Possibility of connecting to electricity for free during the stop. However, the services are not indicated at all; they are further up near the Super U car park. The water works very well, with a pretty golden tap in gargoyle style. Press it, do not unscrew it. The toilets are above the Super U, very clean, smelling fresh, with toilet paper.

Thank you to the municipality for this motorhome aire... €8.80 per 24 hours with electricity, waste disposal and water... that is no longer common today. Very beautiful, quiet village with a magnificent view over the garrigue. A superb bookshop called “Le Bleuet,” known throughout Europe; excellent AOP Banon goat cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves. A very pleasant stop!

We stayed here for one night. A beautiful place to spend the night. €8.80 including electricity. Absolutely fine. It was completely quiet at night. We were woken by the rooster and the church. Toilets also available. The village is simply idyllic. And thank you for this place.

The electricity is available 24 hours. There are five of us: 2 adults and 3 teenagers, not counting the 3 dogs. The bill is €4.44 per adult, or €8.88 for the five of us, with 24 hours of electricity and services included. The village is still just as magnificent. I recommend Banon cheese, the Le Bleuet bookshop and Terre Adélice ice cream! A huge thank-you to the town of Banon for welcoming motorhome travellers!

Beautiful aire for 1 to 2 nights in this lovely village of Banon! Next to the largest independent library in Europe! Not forgetting its small cheese, Banon. As described.

Quiet aire below a small supermarket. Village shops nearby, as well as Banon's famous bookshop, Le Bleuet. €8 with all services. Thank you to the municipality for not falling into the clutches of CampingCarPark.
