101 Via Plinio, 80045, Pompei
Been here?
A parking area at an IP service station with 4 motorhome spaces, about a 5-minute walk from Pompeii’s main ruins entrance. Daytime parking costs 15 €, and the station closes at 18h30, when a chain is placed across the exit. Water is available on request; overnight arrangements and pricing are unclear.

The station operator gives you a ticket for €15 during the day. The station closes at 6:30 p.m. and the operator puts up a chain, so you must leave before then or the next day. I do not know the overnight price.
I asked whether I could stay because I wanted to visit Pompeii. I was told €20 for the day and €20 for the night: €40 for 24 hours at a petrol station.
Great, we slept well. We are returning tomorrow to take the train to Naples. I highly recommend it.
Price is €10 in the off-season, always negotiated in places like this. Access to water is possible by asking.
A good starting point for visiting Pompeii; it is only a five-minute walk away. But it has become more expensive: instead of €10, he wanted €20, though we negotiated it down to €15. We only stopped/parked for the archaeological site.
New price since April: €20 for the day until 7 p.m., but it is central and the guy is friendly.
The person asked me for €60 for the night, with no services, so of course I did not stay. I parked 200 metres farther away in the Carrefour car park for €20, after negotiating because he initially asked for €25.
We only stayed there during the day to visit the park. Very friendly manager. Nothing to complain about. Cost: €10.
