Wooded overnight parking, road noise

Didn't stay overnight. 4 pounds for a day's parking. Free drinking water tap near the toilets. Very nice staff. Nice walking trails around.

Yes, the car park slopes but you can park on relatively flat land by the road. Yes, cars drive down the road and make a noise (what do you expect?). But you're paying £15 to the RSPB. There are clean toilets open 24/7. The centre is open 10-4 (cafe 10-3) but the paths, trails and hides are open 24/7. You'll see Ospreys, Marsh Harriers, red squirrels in the woods. Seriously, what's not to like?

£15 a night is ridiculous for a muddy steep sloping car park next to a very busy main road. people driving in playing loud music until midnight.

Okay as a stop on a long trip, £15 to sleep in a car park next to a fast road. The road has become much busier over the years, non stop from 6am. Nature packaged for the masses, you can sometimes hear the birdlife between the passing cars. Clean site, nice toilets if you need them.

Fantastic place for an overnight stay. Lovely toilet facilities and access to beautiful walks. Great for dogs. Really worth the 15 pounds

Stayed here 05/10/23 overnight. It’s £5 for members or £8 non members for overnight. Very clean toilets open 24/7 and a wet room for people with disabilities. There was just us and 1 other car all night, there’s a little traffic noise but not much. By 8am the car park was starting to fill up. Lovely nights sleep!

Great new toilet facilities since our last visit. Even with traffic, had a great night's sleep. We are RSPB members and were told by staff we had to pay for overnight parking, but free during the day. Only £5 for overnight but still, when you've forked out for a lifetime membership, there should be an odd perk!!!???

For £5 a night you can stay overnight. In the morning, if you like nature and birds, you can walk around the reserve. There is also a café during the day and excellent toilets open 24 hours, adapted for accessibility.✦Translating

Only pitches on the bottom right are suited for larger vehicles (LWB + motor homes) £5 for the night, we moved on further down the road to the next spot by the coffee shop which had much more space and was flat + Free!

Only the spaces right next to the road are level. Very loud vehicles could be heard until late, around midnight, including speeding cars and motorcycles that woke us up repeatedly. At the parking meter, you could choose only £3 for the day or £8 for the night. A very restless night.✦Translating

Quiet at night apart from a few engine noises in the evening. Space for several vans and motorhomes. Immaculate sanitary facilities accessible all night. Nice hiking trails around the loch. £5 for the night; bring change because the machines currently do not accept cards, or pay at the information centre during opening hours.✦Translating
