Small campsite on a hill overlooking Lake Sommen in two directions, with forest behind and many shaded areas. It has about 57 caravan or motorhome pitches, about ten tent pitches and five cottages, plus water, garbage disposal and latrine emptying. The site offers swimming, boating, cycling and walking, with clean sanitary facilities. Hot showers cost extra coins for 4 minutes, 5 seconds, and the northern approach includes a 50 kronen ferry for campers.

The campsite is very naturally laid out and beautiful, with many shaded pitches. There are very many permanent campers. Great opportunities for walking and hiking nearby. Unfortunately, hot water for showers requires extra coins (4 minutes, 5 SEK); kitchen appliances also cost extra, but there is hot water for washing dishes. Drinking water tasted slightly of chlorine.
What a lovely ‘forest’ campsite. Trees and sunshine, swimming and boating. Cycling and walking opportunities. Very friendly owner. Many beautiful permanent pitches, but also camper pitches here and there. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. Simply wonderful for a few days of peace and quiet. From the north side, it is accessible by a small ferry (50 kronor with a camper). The restaurant by the ferry is also fine!
