This is a slightly sloping parking area for cars and motorhomes, with a currently very poor access road and renovation work at the far end. It is quiet, free, and suitable for self-sufficient overnight stays; motorhomes over 6 m should park sideways. The area is good for hiking on the Rothaarsteig, cross-country skiing, and sledding, with a newly built restaurant and liftside restaurant serving food and its own brewery beer.

Good that this is designated for motorhomes as well as cars. Quiet, self-sufficient overnight parking, free of charge. Great for hiking on the Rothaarsteig, cross-country skiing, and sledding. The ski lift no longer exists. Restaurant and lift lodge newly rebuilt. Good food and their own brewery tap! Another hotel-restaurant is within walking distance. Look after this place so we can keep it.Translating
