Harbor parking, sloping spaces

Had a great overnight stay. Pleasant and cozy restaurant. You use the municipality’s public toilets; they were clean.✦Translating

Good place to stay. Unfortunately, the toilets were extremely dirty because partygoers also use them. Because of the smell, we could no longer—or no longer wanted to—use the showers. Perhaps installing a coded lock would help. The party itself was fun, though.✦Translating

Beautiful place at the harbor. The pitches are very steeply sloped, so leveling blocks are definitely needed. In the morning there is traffic from workers at the paper factory. Toilet and shower are fine. A washing machine and dryer are also available.✦Translating

The pitch is very nice in itself. Close to the center and clean. Unfortunately, on weekdays until 4 p.m. it is almost completely occupied by cars belonging to employees of the company on this street. Quite heavy industrial traffic during the day. Quiet at night. It is a shame that the pitch is so restricted.✦Translating

Very good pitch, slightly sloped but no problem with leveling wedges. Disposal and services are standard. I did not use the sanitary facilities, as I have everything on board. Free Wi-Fi is available but very weak. Mobile internet via Telekom keeps cutting out. The Hafen 55 pub sometimes closes at 6 p.m. instead of 9 p.m. The stars are only for the pitch.✦Translating

We stayed at this beautifully located pitch from April 6 to 8. Unfortunately, during the week the spaces are occupied by paper mill employees. You have to be lucky to get a spot during the week. It is a shame, Weener, if this causes paying guests to stay away. I would have liked to give more stars because the pitch deserves them.✦Translating

A parking area by the water. The spaces are short and very sloped. In addition, three quarters of the area was occupied by cars. We moved to the yacht harbor.✦Translating

The pitch has many vacant spaces and payment is straightforward. You should bring a bicycle, as the supermarkets are somewhat farther away. In winter, the electricity surcharge is well worth it; in summer, you can easily do without it. I’ll gladly return.✦Translating

A parking area that serves its purpose. There were plenty of free spaces at the weekend; on Monday morning, many spaces were occupied by cars. We think €15 with electricity is reasonable.✦Translating

We spent a lovely evening at the old harbor with live music and cold drinks. Note: don’t forget your leveling wedges! It is very sloped here. Otherwise it was quiet, with no noise from the factory. Inexpensive, clean, everything available and right on the water. The paper factory is not bothersome, probably only if you stand at the very back or directly in front of it. The shower, etc. are behind the restaurant, where there is also a 24/7 option to register and pay. Beautiful views over the canal marina, quirky bar and restaurant two minutes away. Standard car parking spaces so large vans may struggle. We were there on a Saturday so no noise from the factory. Town very quiet.✦Translating

The sanitary building is clean, simple and adequate, and the Hafen 55 restaurant, with very friendly staff and delicious food, is right next to it. If the site manager does not come, put the money in an envelope in the mailbox in the sanitary building.✦Translating

Small, very sloped spaces and very noisy because of the adjacent paper factory. From 5 a.m., employees’ vehicles race back and forth behind the motorhomes. Unfortunately, there are also campers packed closely together. Despite plenty of space, they squeeze in between one another.✦Translating

Very nice pitch directly on the river. Electricity is available and the spaces are large enough. Leveling wedges are essential, as the slope is very steep. We find it wonderfully idyllic here! Since it is the weekend, we cannot hear anything from the paper factory; at the moment, the church bells from the village are ringing clearly across to us. What a beautiful place!✦Translating

Nice place by the water. I did notice many cars parked in the motorhome spaces, which was a shame. I expected a little more from Weener’s center. Not all spaces had electricity. Sanitary facilities available.✦Translating
