Picnic area, busy road noise

Quiet and cozy place with plenty of picnic tables under the trees. Clean restroom open on weekdays until 4 PM. Barbecue areas and a sports field available, but no kids’ playground. The access road is dusty.✦Translating

I can see that this used to be a nice place, but sadly it is not pleasant right now. we arrived at about 7pm and the vibe was weird. there was a person with a boom box dancing alone while the boom box made a lot of noise. a few others came and left. the bathrooms were locked (and had been broken into). there was a lot of litter and poo all around the area. a shame that people trashed this.✦Translating

A playground, toilets and picnic tables. We spent the night in this parking lot; some young people were having a barbecue but were very respectful of the quiet.✦Translating

A very good spot! We loved the birdsong during our picnic break in the shade. You have to dare to go down the path to find this peaceful place, even though the main road runs just above it in parallel. Enough space to maneuver. A pleasant little stream nearby.✦Translating

Perfect for a midday stop. The dogs have space below the road. No shade except under the many picnic tables. Great.✦Translating

stopped to pick some oranges from the trees in the eco park, toilets extremely clean and open on Sunday morning, the site is very clean at this time of year and the noise of the road is small at night. the middle orange tree is the best one, the site is a wonderful site, go and stay at the Ermida close by if you want more privacy and peace, it's exquisite x✦Translating

A small narrow stretch with a dirt surface; be careful with long vehicles. The bathroom was closed on a summer Sunday. As a result, the place was full of people eating and drinking, defecating and urinating on the ground outside. We only stopped to have lunch inside the motorhome and continue our journey.✦Translating

We couldn't find the place and then drove from Grândola using Google Maps. Unfortunately, we ended up on an increasingly difficult road with potholes, extreme inclines and an unpaved surface, ending at a closed gate. After that ordeal, we didn't want to try approaching from the other side. A shame, as the road from the other side, from the main-road exit, may be easier to drive.✦Translating

The place is nice and you can even make a fire, but it is not a quiet place to sleep; there is a lot of road noise and trucks use the road. There may be calmer places. Safe place to sleep alone in a van.✦Translating
