43 Via Ragusa, 66054, Marina di Vasto
Been here?
This large parking area is close to the beach, bars and restaurants, with pine-tree shade available farther inside. It can be noisy and busy, especially during the day, although some overnight stays are quiet. There are no services apart from a potable-water fountain, and the seafront approach has a 3.5m height restriction. A recent incident involved glass marbles damaging a camper window.

We come here every time we are in Vasto. Safe and well shaded if you go to the far end on the eastern side. It can be noisy, but you are just steps from the seafront and it is really convenient. We raised the pop-up roof without any problems.
Clean, right by the beach. Very lively on sunny weekends, and not easy to find a motorhome parking space.
We stayed well for two nights and felt safe, but on the third evening our camper and we were pelted with glass marbles. The camper window was broken; a report has been filed.
Very large parking lot, space for campers at the far end. It fills up in the morning, but empties from lunchtime onward. No services. Near the beach.
Excellent for visiting Vasto's center thanks to the adjacent shuttle service and its proximity to the sea. Recycling area and drinking-water fountain available. We spent a peaceful night.
Convenient parking for the beach, five minutes away. I do not recommend the shaded section. People park really badly and there is a risk of being blocked indefinitely. In the unshaded section it is peaceful; occasionally there is car noise at night, but nothing terrible. There is a fountain, but you cannot connect to it because posts have been installed; it is still useful.
Good parking lot. Near the sea and restaurants. The farther parts of the parking lot are also shaded. You can spend the night. No services, only a drinking-water fountain.
Good for parking, including overnight. Free, no services. Better to enter from Piazza Fiume, pass the old station building and look behind it. There may be a pine-wood area with smaller parking spaces near the cycle path. Close to the beach, about 200 metres, and to shops and bars, accessible via a side staircase. Quiet at night, with some noise from life along the seafront.
Quiet place to spend a night; simple parking lot.
Once we got there it was ok. GPS coordinates and address are both incorrect. It would be better to say near the old railway station, access through the old station carpark on the Piazza Fiume. Beware 3.5m height restriction coming from the seafront. Near a cycle and walking path
Very large, shaded parking lot, with no emptying or filling facilities, five minutes' walk from the lower part of “new” Vasto, where there are restaurants, minimarkets, toilets and free beaches! Quiet both day and night.
Very large parking lot with plenty of spaces. It is not very clean, despite the recycling area, which can only be used by residents. There is a water dispenser and the entrance to the cycle path. It is not very well lit at night; there is only one streetlamp. I have been staying here in summer for three years now and fortunately nothing unpleasant has ever happened.
We only found the correct access on the third attempt, when we stopped following the satnav and followed only the logic of the roads. When we arrived on Sunday at around 7:30 p.m., the lot was almost empty apart from one motorhome. We met only friendly people and spent a quiet night under the pine trees without streetlights. We were very satisfied and thank them for this opportunity.
