136 Bondastrasse, 7000, Chur
Been here?
Roadside parking area in Chur, tariffed by the hour and best suited to small motorhomes, serving as a starting point for hikes to Mittenberg and Fürhörnli. The spaces are slightly sloped, in a quiet dead-end with little traffic. Larger vehicles risk fines from city police, even after just a short stay - one visitor was even woken at night and told to move on. There's a drinking fountain nearby usable with a standard hose.

The police woke us at 2:30; we had to leave immediately. Otherwise, buses cost 200 francs.
Caution: after only two hours we had a ticket from the city police on the vehicle. Really only for small campers that fit in the parking space.
Slightly sloping parking area. From 08:00 to 19:00, CHF 1.20 per hour. Little traffic because it is at the end of a dead-end street. We could park with a 7 m camper by reversing in and letting the rear extend over the sidewalk. Drinking fountain right next to it. No threaded connection, but you can insert a standard hose and it fits exactly.
Quiet location. Parking is easy for short motorhomes. A donkey in the neighborhood amused us with its braying from time to time.
