Unnamed Road, A98 YR26, Ballinteskin
Been here?
A free parking area for day and night stays, with no services and a 2.10m height limit. Trees protect it from wind, and nights are generally quiet on the gravel surface. Hikers and cyclists use the car park during the day, and it can fill quickly in the morning. Walking trails lead through Djouce Woods towards Powerscourt Waterfall.

Djouce Woods
Quiet place for an overnight stay. Gravel surface and tall trees nearby. Plenty of bikers and hikers use the car park during daylight hours. Low barrier, but our T5 fit underneath.Translating
Very quiet, with a walk to reach Powerscourt Waterfall.Translating
June 28, 2025. Quiet, sheltered from the wind by the trees, no disturbances, peaceful night. I recommend it.Translating
height restriction of 2.1m but we fitted under with a vw camper no problem. 3 different carparks one with a beautiful view. we stayed there. you can walk Djouce wood and onto powerscourt waterfall. we used all trails to mark the route as there's quite alot of paths. no services. or public toilets very quiet. would recommend a stay here
We spent one night here without any problems. There are plenty of parking spaces and nobody was there at night. In the morning, however, the car park fills up quickly.Translating
