Rütigasse, 5105, Auenstein
Been here?
A sloping viewpoint parking area near Auenstein, popular as a starting point for hikes up the Gisliflue, with fine panoramic views. It's used for overnight stays but the pitch is quite tilted, which several travellers found uncomfortable for sleeping. Expect comings and goings well into the evening, including young people gathering here on weekends, and some occasional aircraft noise. A 12-hour stay limit has been reported.

Unfortunately, it is really too sloped for sleeping. We drove on. Otherwise, the surroundings and view are beautiful.
Very nice panorama, but it seems to be a very popular picnic place among young people. Also, the parking is very sloped.
Good place to chill and enjoy the view, with occasional aircraft noise. Limited to 12 hours.
Beautiful views and tranquility, but far too sloped for me. Very uncomfortable. What a shame.
There is a steady coming and going here even during the week, until late in the evening. Otherwise, it is a peaceful place. The parking spaces are not completely level, but it is suitable for sleeping.
