We did not sleep at this area, but only parked for a break in the village. There are all services: grey-water and black-water disposal and fresh water. Toilets behind the restaurants.
It is ONLY a daytime car park, and parking is ONLY allowed on the gravel. NOT on the grass. The Carabinieri issued fines! Please follow this strictly!
This is in the Monti Sibillini park area, where there is a general ban on parking and therefore on overnight stays. There is no indication that it is a car park, which is nevertheless inside the prohibited and protected area. Locals confirmed that checks and fines are carried out. It would be good to see administrators understand the potential and economic benefits that camper tourists can bring to the area.
We left our motorhome in this parking lot while we were hiking in the nearby area. We were a couple of motorhomes and we felt safe. It wasn't very noisy but we didn't sleep in this spot. It was completely free but there weren't any services (there is a camper parking above this place where it is possible to take water and discharge waste water). The access road is unpaved but we had no issues.
Very quiet place with a great view. No services. The village is a five-minute walk away. There are small bars. Beautiful hikes are possible in the surrounding area.
A short stretch of gravel road, but quite easy. Extraordinary view, with the possibility of parking on the stones or grass. Very quiet. Yesterday there were four motorhomes. Ten minutes’ walk from the village, where there are vendors of local products.
