Riverside beach, sandy access

Absolutely avoid! It is full of sand; we got completely stuck as soon as we entered the spot. The farmer who pulled us out with his tractor said he had already pulled out many others before us.

At this time of year, the spot no longer exists!

Place at the bottom of a lightly trafficked road, completely quiet at night. One comfortable space and a second possible space for a small vehicle.

Very nice little place to stop and sleep. We spent one night and it was perfect; the track was dry and there was no traffic at night. I highly recommend this magnificent place.

Nice for a picnic and nap, but not great for spending the night.

Getting bogged down is guaranteed for two-wheel-drive vans…

Very good spot for spending a night. Access to two small beaches is great. The view is unobstructed. A small drawback is that you can hear cars in the morning and evening, but not at night.

We found the track dry and had no problem climbing back up, but you can see that it gets damp and if you find the track wet, it is difficult to climb without slipping. We enjoyed the place; there is a small sandy beach for entering the river.

This is truly right beside the road—you are two metres from the traffic lane. Even at 7 p.m. on a November evening, several cars passed, in my opinion too fast and too close. We preferred to leave.
