Riverside picnic area, paid nights

A little piece of paradise for a self-contained van (the barrier was open). Hats off to the municipality for this quality welcome! (We did not test the sanitary facilities. Even without them: 5 stars.) Municipal tourist tax office for the €2. Thank you.

Overnight stays are limited to a maximum of two nights. Beautifully situated by the river, with access to the river, benches and tables, and waste disposal. No gray-water disposal. In mid-March, the toilets were unfortunately still closed and there was no water. Remember to pay €2 per night at the town hall, near the church. If it is closed, put it in the mailbox. Many thanks to the municipality.

Parking beside the River Volane. Very quiet, few people, and lovely natural pools farther upstream—great for cooling off! There are also toilets, shaded picnic tables, and a children’s swing.

Rather quiet place, not many people; however, the toilets are rather dirty. It is still a beautiful place for swimming and walking upstream along the river. Note the splendid view! Raph & Mimi

This is a reception area, as indicated by a sign. The height barrier apparently is never closed except in exceptional circumstances. The €2 is only for the overnight stay. Toilets and sink are functional.
