Railway line nearby, but the place is nevertheless quiet.
Super location for the weekend. Just us both nights. Very peaceful watching the swallows flying by in an aerial ballet. Beautiful sunset too.
A heartfelt thank you to the municipality for this beautiful place! If you like being self-sufficient, this is exactly the right place... right on the riverbank, completely alone with plenty of space. Lock, boats and trains, yes, but they do not really disturb; instead, you fall asleep to frogs croaking and wake up to birdsong. Beautiful bike ride of about 9 km along the canal to Bar-le-Duc... the town is a real gem!

Accessibility made difficult due to bridge works... an 8-kilometer detour. Indeed, trains pass very frequently until 10 p.m.... Quiet until 5 a.m.
