A beautiful free parking area beside a bathing place, with several cycling trails and summertime food and drinks. The road is nearby but generally quiet at night, while the area can be busy during the day. Parking is unavailable on May 31st and from July 3rd to 5th.

Parking not possible on May 31st (Stallarholmsdagen) and July 3-5 Vikingafestivalen).
Nice and quiet night in februari. The parking area is cleared of snow during winter.
No access due to construction work.
November 2024: It is literally next to a road in the surburbs, but we stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it! Very quiet, but can imagine it's alot busier in the summer.
Very nice place to spend the afternoon swimming and the night. Small snack bar open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; families come here to relax. Quiet in the evening, with little traffic on the road.
Very nice view, but there is a road right behind it that can be heard, and there is a high risk of young people being there with mopeds and cars.
Great location for a break. Portable toilet available. There is a “Camping Forbidden” sign at the edge, and the nearest houses are less than 100 metres away. We drove on.
Pitch at a public beach. The beach is very well maintained, the water is very clean and inviting for swimming. An ICA discount supermarket is within walking distance. The pitch is parallel to the road; normal traffic in the evening, quiet at night.
