Campingplatz Mutzschen/Roda e.V.

We stayed one night at this campsite and, first of all, we will definitely come back. The operators are extremely nice and accommodating. The prices are perfectly reasonable too (€7 per person, motorhome €8, electricity €3.50). The location is very idyllic by the Langen Rodaer See.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Communication was seamless. You don't need to book in advance. A very warm welcome, even with a small homemade gift. You can choose your own pitch; we had a shady spot under chestnut trees, right by the lake (not enough water for swimming). The sanitary facilities were extremely clean and well maintained. Very hospitable!

We spent one night at the campsite; the facilities are simple but functional. A three-minute shower costs €1 and there is a hairdryer. We paid €26 for a spot for three people and a dog. The lake is not suitable for swimming. Welcoming owners and no reservation needed. If the gate is closed, you can open it and enter because reception is at the back. They don't speak much English.

Very quiet campsite. Anyone who likes watching TV won't be lucky here, but that isn't a problem—nature provides the TV here. Everything was great, and if the water isn't completely clear, that's not the operators' fault; it's simply nature.

Very beautiful, small and quiet campsite, ideal for nature lovers looking to relax. Natural pitches directly by Langen Rodaer See. The nearby Wermsdorf Forest is perfect for cycling and hiking. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Friendly operators and a family atmosphere. Very good value for money.

Beautiful place. You can enjoy cycling in the surrounding area. There are apple and pear trees along all the roads and paths.

Secluded location with poor access. Friendly operator. We paid €21 for one night for two people, a dog and a motorhome. I find it somewhat expensive considering that the lake water is very dirty and the shower stays cold.

It's okay. Quiet and peaceful. €15 per night for a car and a family of four. Access is via a potholed road.

Fine scenic spot right next to the beautiful lake, where locals also come to swim. Facilities are okay, and chemical toilet disposal is possible, but not grey-water disposal. Only when paying do you discover that a shower costs €3 (three minutes) and waste and water cost €4, bringing our total to €19 per night without electricity.
