This is a quiet parking area above Ranzo, set on an internal lawn at a hairpin bend and only a few minutes from the center. The area is not completely flat but offers attractive mountain views and peaceful overnight stays. A sports center with football, tennis and playground facilities is nearby, while the village has 2 bars and a supermarket open on Saturdays. Lake Molveno is reachable by mountain bike at 15km one way, but the approach road is narrow and adventurous.

Beautiful place to stay a night! Very quiet, nice view on the mountains. Not completely flat area, but overall a spot to recommend to others!
Nice parking lot with a great view. We stood a little farther down by the tennis courts. The road is hardly used and you can stay here overnight comfortably. However, the access road to Ranzo is very adventurous and partly single-lane, though it offers breathtaking views of the valley. It is not recommended for large motorhomes.
There is another parking lot 50 meters farther down, which we preferred to standing on the hairpin bend. There is a garbage bin and a bench below. We were completely undisturbed. A few hikers came in the morning. Gigantic view. I would not recommend the road uphill for large motorhomes; it is more like a mountain pass road.
Possibilities for mountain biking and gravel biking. Lake Molveno is 30 km away. Beautiful circular hiking route via Malga Bael, the path crossing Margone and back to Ranzo, or take one of the most beautiful sections of the S. Vili trail to the village of Deggia and then return to Ranzo via another loop. There are four climbing crags within walking distance and it is an excellent starting point for the Rino Pisetta via ferrata.
