Hagskarveien, 8370, Leknes
Been here?
This is a green roadside lay-by with plenty of space, but most of the ground is very uneven and difficult for sleeping. It has no services and was reported as somewhat dirty. The west-side entrance is overgrown and unsuitable for vehicles larger than a normal car.

True, it’s hard to find a level place but it is a nice green lay-by that just feels more calmly than the two bigger parkings a few hundred meters up the road. Note that the entrance coming in from the west side is overgrown and not suitable for anything bigger than a normal car unless you don’t mind scratches on your rv.
This is probably a nice place for a short rest along the road but it is very uneven and it was quiet dirty there.
Acceptable in an emergency or as a hiking parking area, but the entire site is very uneven and therefore unsuitable for sleeping. There are a few bushes between the road and the site for protection, but we only parked for a short hike.
Beware of the one pitch that is slightly elevated and set apart. I uploaded a picture showing the rock. We didn't notice it when driving up and grounded our VW Amarok on it. The rock is overgrown and barely visible. Otherwise, this is a cool spot a little farther up from the large gravel parking area.
Too narrow and very steep; we did not stay.
Considering the limited options for sleeping in this area of the Lofoten Islands, the site is perfect. It is possible to find one or two level spots if you park creatively.
