Quiet free parking, services unavailable

Amazing place. At the moment it is just a very quiet car park with a fantastic view. The services do not work.

Parking only. No water, no electricity.

Beautiful area in nature. Although it is near the road, it is quiet and almost completely flat. Too bad the electricity hookups and the service point are present but unusable; otherwise it would deserve five stars. What a shame.

Five stars for the tranquillity. Zero stars for the services. No water, no electricity. We stayed overnight; we only needed to rest in peace and quiet.

The place looks nice, with a beautiful view. But as mentioned before, no phone service, so I moved to the next city.

Great place for an overnight stay. Everything looks well maintained and is lit, including the Christmas nativity scene. A large white dog comes to greet you on arrival, but it is well behaved and keeps its distance if you do not want contact. Very quiet at night, with the first truck at 7 a.m. No water or electricity. And just a tiny bit of internet coverage.

Quiet place to spend the night. As mentioned, there is no water here. Mobile network is only 3G, with no internet.

Relatively large, gravelled and level pitch, with grass grids. Entrance suitable for motorhomes up to 7–8 metres. Taps and electricity pillars do not work; the toilet building is behind bars. Playground, picnic tables, barbecue area, and rubbish bins available. It is really a shame that something so beautiful was built and then never completed or maintained. Please, dear municipality.

Small area, very good for a one-night stop, quiet and set back from road noise. Too bad the services do not work.

It was a beautiful area. At the moment, only electricity is available, but there is no water, so even if you wanted to empty the tanks, you could not rinse the grate. Barbecue area and children’s playground. I passed through during the day, so I do not know whether the night lighting is on.

Update on 15 August 2025 at 9 p.m.: the area is completely dark, with no water and no electricity. No notice posted; Google Maps lists it as “temporarily closed.”

Reasonable condition; unfortunately, there is no water, but the electricity works. Nice area with a service point, barbecue, and tables.

What a shame—the area would be good, but nothing works.

Area Pessina, in a state of abandonment; lights and water do not work. The sign saying “municipality friendly to touring tourism” is hilarious. It would be a nice place, if only the municipality had not completely lost interest. We stopped only for lunch.

The area seemed abandoned, with tall grass and Maremma sheepdogs present. We left without even getting out. I recommend going to the camper area in Scoppito instead!

Impossible to access with large campers. We have a 7.5-metre vehicle.
