410 Rua Vale da Amoreira, 8005-546, Faro
Been here?
This supermarket parking area offers 24/7 self-service laundry and paid water loading and grey-water unloading near the car wash. Recent reports describe frequent car and motorcycle races, loud nighttime activity and gatherings near the filling station, making the location potentially noisy and unsafe. The water is non-potable, and a recent attempt cost 4 euros without reaching 100L. The supermarket, fuel station and snack counter are convenient, but the centre is far away.

It is practical. The gray-water disposal is next to the fresh-water filling point, which is not potable. We paid 4 euros for 100 liters; after filling for 10 minutes, it still did not reach 100 liters.
Around midnight, a drug-dependent group of young people gathers here and does its thing. They hold car races near the petrol station, with open flames shooting from the wheels toward the station. This happens regularly. The police ignore it. I wonder why???
Very well-located parking area for visiting Faro. There is a supermarket and petrol station directly at the site, with gray-water disposal. The snack bar in the supermarket is also okay for breakfast and snacks. We stayed and spent the night here without problems with 10 other motorhomes. No noise or anything. We would use it again.
As always, a place to stop, shop and spend one night. Better bring earplugs.
The site itself is solid, but there are many car and motorcycle races during the day and also at night. Since the campers are parked very close to the road, this is not only annoying but also very dangerous. It can also become very loud at night, as the parking area apparently serves as a meeting place for young people. The surrounding shops are ideal, although that does not help much in this situation.
It's nice, but when we were there in mid-March, there was construction going on on the street above and a lot of traffic, making it very noisy. Plus, it's far from the centere.
The site itself is okay. A hardware store and supermarket, as well as an inexpensive petrol station, are nearby. The self-service laundromat was a bad experience: the lower dryer did not work after the €2 payment by card. The upper one worked, but the laundry, which was not overloaded, was still damp even after two 20-minute cycles at the highest temperature. Better use another self-service station or a laundromat :)
Nothing special! Full of motorhomes and very strange people. We spent one night resting after the various storms we had experienced.
Very good place, paved and dry parking with waste disposal and water. You have to buy a token at the petrol station: €2 for 100 liters. I will come back.
Excellent place. Very convenient that you can do laundry. We cycled to Faro. Very manageable.
Quiet, all services. Very good.
Spent two nights in this large, quiet parking area. We reached the city center on foot. Do not miss the Chapel of Bones; tickets are €2 per person. There is a car wash in the parking area where you can fill and empty the water tanks using a €2 token from the car wash office.
Very quiet and safe. Thank you for this area.
Perfect place for one night. Some noise from young people with motorcycles and cars at night, but you just have to accept that XP
Very quiet area for sleeping. Very busy with motorhomes. Supermarket with petrol station next door. Free disposal services; filling costs €1. The only drawback is that it is about a 30-minute walk to the port.
We spent a very peaceful night here; nobody and nothing disturbed us. The noise on the 26th was probably also due to the holiday excitement, with young people trying to show off, but tonight it was incredibly quiet. I recommend this place both for leaving the vehicle and visiting the town.
Busy during the day but relatively quiet at night. You feel safe with many other campers. There is a green area directly next to the parking lot, ideal for dog owners. There are several trash bins. Perfect that the supermarket is right outside.
Spent a quiet night with 15 campers. Ideal bad-weather location on a nicely paved parking area. No car races or other noise.
Yes, unfortunately at 2 am a group of teenagers came screetching the tires of their cars and then playing football, making A LOT of noise. It was me this time calling the police, trying hard to explain in English what the problem is. They never came but the guys went away. Probably 20 campers on the parking. Don't recommend to spend the night. Otherwise the place looked decent.
WARNING! Our first night in Portugal and such a terrible one. At 11 p.m., squealing and honking motorcycles; at 2 a.m., drifting cars driving through the campers. They then got out, played football between the vehicles and shot shopping carts around. I cannot understand why this place has such good reviews, because all of this was deliberate and hostile behavior toward campers.
We spent two days here. It was very quiet at night, and having the service area opposite is very convenient.
Good place to park and spend the night, with all services and within walking distance of Faro city center. Quiet, safe and clean.
spent a night here with LOTS of campervans. thank you! :)
Spent a quiet night with many other campers.
