Via Mareneve, 95015, Linguaglossa
Been here?
This campsite is set in the woods near Piano Provenzana, where walks to Etna begin, and has an on-site restaurant. The access road is steep, narrow and badly surfaced, making exit difficult and limiting the site to small vans or suitable 4x4 vehicles. There is no water loading or unloading. Toilets are clean but have no hot water, and the campsite was reported closed in April 2026.

I would not recommend it because you have to worry about being able to get out again.Translating
Campsite nestled among pine forests along the Mareneve road and near Piano Provenzana, where hikes to Mount Etna begin. I was very well received by the entire team. You can also eat very well at the inn in the evening. I recommend it!Translating
Campsite was not open (April 2026).Translating
The campsite is picturesque, but the entrance route is uneven, sloping and narrow for maneuvering, suitable for 4x4s. We almost got stuck. It would have been appropriate to mention this when we called. No filling or emptying facilities, clean and large bathrooms but no hot water. Paying €80 for the pitch, electricity, three people and two nights seems a bit much to me.Translating
We stayed one night with our van at Camping Clan dei Ragazzi—a brazen robbery, €32—for a dangerous entrance road, showers full of spiders, nonexistent pitches, and no water emptying or filling. Absolutely not recommended!Translating
Nice place in the forest. But not for big campers. 4x4 or small buses maximum due to road condition to the pitches. No view to Etna.
I arrived on September 5 and asked whether it was possible to stay overnight with a camper, but I was told no—and that I could stop there the following day. I don't know what to tell you; if they like you, maybe they will let you stay.Translating
Chalet with restaurant, campsites and rooms. We stayed one night before our etna hike. It was a perfect place for us with our campervan - clean, loads of space and a hot shower.
Spending the night in a forest on lava-covered ground is a unique experience. Clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff who also gave us valuable advice. Possibility of dining at the mountain refuge—excellent!!!Translating
