Been here?
8-pitch motorhome area by Mayenne river with overflow parking. Good for bird-watching and river walks, but located next to sewage facility with regular compactor noise. Water and cassette-rinsing require tokens (not free year-round). Grey-water emptying available. Dusty roads and cramped pitches noted.

Pleasant parking area, suitable for day and night. Spent the night listening to the ducks. Water is available with tokens purchased at the small souvenir shop selling local products next door. Beautiful place to visit.
Very nice area for spending the night. It is very quiet, and you can take beautiful walks along the banks of the Mayenne. The marshes also offer the chance to see migrating birds in flight. Wonderful! We woke up to birdsong—just marvelous. I recommend it.
Very pleasant area. However, it is not possible to rinse the toilet cassette without a token, there is a pétanque court nearby, and the path is very dusty in dry weather. We will gladly return. Thank you to the municipality.
No water without tokens. Yet it is April, so no, there is no free water. We couldn't find any. This token system is really impractical.
Quiet place; we slept to the sound of frogs in the background. Close to a nice playground where you can also enjoy a drink and food outdoors in a pleasant atmosphere (limited menu). In addition to the eight spaces, there is room for a few campervans.
Very good for the night, but I am surprised because we have come several times and there was never any space, whereas now we are completely alone. Thank you to the municipality.
It is relatively quiet if you do not park near the wastewater treatment plant compactor. Good for spending one night. Food available nearby. Thank you to the municipality.
Perfect for one night in November. Since the town hall was closed on Sunday, we could not buy a token for water. We went to the motorhome area at Port Albert to fill up.
The area deserves credit for existing; parking is more or less fine, although the spaces are a little tight. The emptying and water-filling system is not very practical, especially since you have to go to the crêperie to get a token when it is open.
Next to the wastewater treatment plant, with the compactor making noise every 30 minutes, or even every 15 minutes. We were very lucky that the weather was bad, so there were no smells. Slept very badly—avoid.
Beautiful, peaceful location. Close to a towpath for long walks. Quiet night, outside the season.
It deserves credit for existing, but the gray-water emptying system is rather archaic. Water gets spilled all around it. No free water, so you cannot even rinse your toilet.
August 20, 2025. A municipal notice informs us that the area and motorhome parking are closed from August 20 to 30, 2025, due to local festivities.
During our tour of France, we spent a quiet, pleasant night here in our partner town. We arrived at around 8 p.m. in early August and there were still four spaces available. We did not use the services, as we are self-sufficient. Thank you very much for this motorhome pitch.
At around 10 p.m. in early August, we spontaneously drove here. We had one of the rear spaces, and apart from ducks, there was nothing to hear :-) Great for one night! Thanks to the municipality for this free option, one minute's walk from the Mayenne—a wonderful place to linger or fish.
The place is very good, but the night was not so quiet, with a metallic machine making noise every few minutes. It was impossible to determine the exact source, but I suspect the wastewater treatment unit right next to the spaces where we were parked. Very unpleasant.
Nice, quiet spot near shops, restaurants and the small harbor. Main drawback: the emptying facilities are archaic; most motorhomes empty directly into the grate.
The area is practical and functional, but the services need improvement, with a gray-water emptying system worthy of another era—a receiver at the end of a construction hose held together with tape, which must be placed under the vehicle. As for filling with water, everything has already been said, and it is not free during this period as indicated.
Clean area with a trash bin, allowing for lovely walks along the river. Children's playground and bread machine nearby. A very good start to the night, but the latter part was marked by traffic and a really unpleasant slamming gate. Emptying is inconvenient, and you have to buy tokens for water, including to rinse the toilet cassette.
We spent two nights in this parking area to visit Terra Botanica, 8 km away. Very quiet and clean place. However, emptying gray water is not very practical. Thank you to the municipality.
