IV21 2AX, Red Point
Been here?
This is a daytime parking bay beside a stone stack viewpoint, bench and attractive sea views. Red Beach can be reached by continuing along the road, then walking through a gate and over the dunes. The location is relatively isolated with very little traffic, but there are no facilities or bins.

Great, relatively secluded spot (the nearest house is more than 100 metres away) with a beautiful view of the sea. Almost no traffic. There is no indication that overnight parking is prohibited.
You’re not welcome to park overnight here!! This is literally on the doorstep to someone’s house and business!!
In my opinion, it is too close to residential houses. Therefore, I consider it less suitable for overnight stays.
We loved this spot!! Beautiful sea views and only one other camper with us as it’s down quite a long dead end road, but meant very little traffic. Short walk to the beach - but no facilities/bins. We took a picnic down to the beach and had it all to ourselves. However quite windy.
Great view of the sunset. A quiet and relaxing place, with very little traffic even during the day.
Seemed to be right at the end of someone’s drive, so did t stay as didn’t feel right.
A superb and incredibly beautiful spot. Everything is said below; we took many photos and spent a dream night, waking up to sunshine, blue skies and a glassy sea.
We went to the end of the road but came back here. Superb view; we were alone at the end of the world. No traffic, as there are only two houses farther on. There really are lots of sheep droppings. There is a horse ranch 50 metres below, but no direct view of it.
We checked out the lot further down the road first, but decided to come back to this wonderful spot. Horses on one side, sheep and coastline on the other with practically no traffic. there was work being done on the property adjacent, but it wasn't too obtrusive. we woke up with sheep around the van, which was a fun addition.
