Quiet ruins, distant train noise

We took the path to the right after the ruined house and settled in the clearing behind it, in a field of wild mint. Silence, birds, and in the distance a small dog barking (as almost everywhere here). A peaceful place for now; we are going to spend the night immersed in the scent of mint, a real herbal tea.

Very quiet place. However, we were visited by the police at midnight. It was simply an identity check, no trouble. They are monitoring damage to the ruins, so it is better to park on the other side of the road or at the end of the path.

Very quiet, by the river. There is space for a couple of motorhomes along the track. It is a narrow path but manageable with a 7.5 m motorhome. Roman ruins next to it.

The clearing in front of the ruins is now covered with tall grass, but you can park a little farther ahead beside the road. Visited by fishermen early in the morning.

Nice spot near the water. Wild boars are in the field next to it and can be seen at dusk. The local residents are very friendly. They once needed a jump-start for their car. Please take your rubbish with you and do not leave food outside at night.

We spent a good, quiet night. Beware of wild boars in the evening; they are not afraid of people at all!
