This reservoir layby is currently blocked by fencing and cannot be used. It was originally described as having views over the Southern Uplands and Daer Reservoir, with room for 2 or 3 vans or 1 larger motorhome. The access road was reported as rather potholey, and the Southern Upland Way crosses the dam.

The site is blocked off with fences and can no longer be used.
Great nights sleep. No passing traffic. Full Vodaphone 4G. Located right at the end of the dam - the Southern Upland Way crosses the dam - so nice walk over to the other side. Talking to a local fisherman he told me that the wind does tend to funnel towards the park up during adverse conditions. Lovely views
Flat and 4G really quiet on a Tuesday night in July, two spots here. Just had a Hare walk past the van
