Peaceful canal pitch, clean toilet

A very beautiful pitch directly on the Mittelland Canal. We especially liked the wonderful view of the water and the passing ships. The operators are exceptionally friendly and helpful and take loving care of their guests. The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful—ideal for relaxing and enjoying yourself. We felt very comfortable here and would love to return.

Small but excellent pitch directly on the canal. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful (thanks again for the gas bottle). Just sit by the camper, watch the ships and/or birds, and enjoy slowing down. I would come here more often if the journey weren't so long.

We really liked the place. The owners, Antje and Heinz, are wonderful people. There is a wonderful atmosphere here.

Ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours. SUPs can be rented. The nearest restaurant is about 2 km away. They serve delicious schnitzel, beer and Bullenschluck. Friendly chat with the landlady included.

A lovely pitch with a very sociable atmosphere. The operating couple are very friendly and helpful. A pitch to enjoy. You can peacefully watch passing ships as well as many waterfowl. The prices are more than reasonable. I will definitely go there again.

A very nice place. The operator is incredibly kind and is happy to bring out his guitar and play a little song in good company. The toilet is clean and open 24 hours. We will definitely come back.

Very beautiful place right on the water. The owners were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. We planned to stay 2 nights, but stayed for a week. We will definitely return. If you looking for a small campsite in amongst nature, this is it.

We haven't noticed any grass fleas yet :-). The place is really nice and you receive a very friendly welcome. If you're lucky, you can park in the front row with a view of the water. But there are also very nice seating areas where you can sit and watch boats. The only drawback: there is no grey-water disposal. The price is more than fair!

Absolutely brilliant place! You rarely experience such hospitality. Heinz, the operator, and Franz, the good soul of the place, are simply wonderful! Everything you need is here. Free SUPs and canoes are fantastic. Swimming in the canal is also possible. The bread-roll service is excellent too! Everything you get here for the price is simply over the top! Dear Heinz, thank you for sharing this place with others as well. Yesterday we spent a very relaxed evening with wonderful encounters. Thanks to the earth refrigerator, we had cool drinks. Very suitable for an overnight stop. A walk along the canal is also lovely. The place is a little rustic, with a nice operator.

We arrived and immediately felt comfortable. I don't really understand what people write about the noise; for us it was completely fine. We say thank you for the lovely time.

Top place; comfort is valued here. Keeping distance from your neighbor is encouraged. Right on the canal, ideal for extended walks. For groceries, either take a long walk or use a bicycle.

Super personal, family-run place. Toilet right on site. Water available, electricity available. Everything is great. I would be very happy to come back.
