A small roadside area behind the battery beach parking lot, with easy access to the beach and a quiet, lightly trafficked road. Recent stays found the ground fairly level, with the sound of the sea nearby. Campers and beach users can make the main verge less quiet, while the parallel path offers more space but no sea view. The beach prohibits dogs.

Parked for the night on the verge opposite the beach. Lots of space and pretty level. Beach says no dogs however evening and morning there were locals bringing dogs so we had ours with us. Quiet road.
We took the path parallel to the road to get a little farther away from the string of motorhomes. No sea view, but birds in the fields and stars overhead! However, there are several toilet stops on this side. It would be a plus if everyone buried or took away their waste so as not to spoil the place. Much quieter than on the road.
We parked on the verge at the side of the road before the first entrance to the beach. Great spot for swimming and paddleboarding, not the quietest spot with campers and beach goers coming and going, but we enjoyed it!
Perfect for going to the beach, quiet behind the dyke and fairly level. There is a larger area for sleeping; it’s great.
