Been here?
Guarded city-centre motorhome car park in Cagliari, staffed 24/7 with CCTV, mainly used as a secure base to explore the historic centre on foot. Pitches are tightly packed on asphalt with little to no shade, and prices are widely reported around €22-28/night without electricity (€33-38 with), plus separate charges for showers, laundry and water/electric top-ups. Checkout is 12:00 noon; leaving later can incur an hourly surcharge. Generally quiet at night, though a few travellers noted gulls, nearby stadium noise, or a curt staff member.

Strategic place for visiting Cagliari, very safe because it is monitored 24/7. All services are available, but in my opinion it is a little expensive… €50 for just one night, arriving at 11 p.m. and leaving at noon.Translating
Recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy the city. Clean bathrooms, paid showers. Access controlled 24/7.Translating
For a motorhome parking area, it is very good. We paid €28 per night—the night runs from noon on the day of arrival until noon the next day, even if you leave earlier or arrive later—for 2 people without electricity. Toilets are free; showers cost €1 for 3 minutes. There are also washing machines. It is secure and staff are always on site 24/7.Translating
It is good for exploring the city, but it is still just a parking area, a little expensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. €38 per night with electricity.Translating
A convenient motorhome parking area, especially for those arriving by ship, just a few steps from the port, open 24 hours, with all the necessary services. If you need a cold shower, you cannot have one; you have to insert the token to get hot water. You can reach the seafront or historic centre by public transport or your own vehicle.Translating
The price is not for 24 hours; they tell you that you have to leave before 12:00. We only found this out when we wanted to leave. We arrived at 20:00 and left the next day at 16:00, and they charged us an €18 surcharge.Translating
Well located for visiting the historic area, it has everything a traveller needs: black-water, grey-water and potable-water disposal, decent parking spaces, and a friendly, professional attendant who gives you a map of the city and points out the important sights. The price is €28 per 24 hours without electricity, too expensive for what it offers, but it provides peace of mind and security.Translating
The location is 8 minutes from the port, secure and open 24/7. There is no shade and the price is quite high: €28, or €38 with electricity. You can manage without it; it is a little excessive for us. The city can be visited on foot in 30 minutes and is very pleasant. The staff speak French. I recommend it despite the price.Translating
A young man welcomes you and gives you all the information: drinking water, showers at €1 for 3 minutes, toilets, motorhome services, and so on. The main advantage is access on foot to the old town in about 19 minutes and to the port. However, the night was very restless because of seagull cries and motorhomes arriving at all hours. But I found nothing better.Translating
The staff member was perfectly normal with us—not mega-friendly, but not unfriendly either. He showed and explained everything. The pitch is really only intended for parking and visiting the city. I would not recommend more than one night. We felt safer there because everything is monitored by video. There should be more showers and toilets—or they should not be separated by gender. One each.Translating
Very good for sightseeing in the city. Only a daily rate, no hourly billing. The service team is nice and helpful. We were in Cagliari for 4 hours and did not want to stay overnight; €28 is very expensive for that, but it is safe.Translating
Extremely unfriendly staff. We were immediately spoken to very rudely—bookings are only possible for at least one night, €28 without electricity and €38 with electricity. We left again.Translating
Great stop, friendly staff, 9 min drive off ferry, 20 minutes fast walk to citadel. Open for late Palermo ferry and try to accommodate everyone, extra charge for length over 7m (measured inc bike rack). We paid €33 with electric (10A) for a 6.4m van. Water & drainage and shower. Must leave by 12 midday or charged extra by the hour. Cagliari pretty & interesting & can see main sites in 1 morning
If we had not needed to leave early the next morning, I would never have gone there. A stinking site and a parking attendant talking loudly on the phone at night have left us with unpleasant memories of this pitch. All vehicles are parked so close together that you can barely open the door. It is an emergency solution...Translating
It is good because it is central. The staff are unfriendly, there is no shade, motorhomes are parked one next to another, and the price is too high for what they offer. Toilets without toilet paper or hand soap.Translating
Horrible, cramped, shady-free and very dirty place. We stayed 5 hours and were charged €28. Avoid!Translating
If we assume that this area is mainly intended for parking your vehicle securely while visiting the city, then it is a good option. The price for one night—€23 in May, services included—is acceptable. There are 4–5 more shaded spaces at the far end on the left; do not hesitate to ask. The site rules are available in several languages and the staff speak French.Translating
Unfortunately, we were sent away again. Parking at the posted hourly rate was not possible, only for the whole night. We wanted to continue travelling in the afternoon. Unfortunately, it is very cramped, with no shade, and only very sloping spaces were available for us, so we decided not to stay overnight.Translating
We originally wanted to park in a normal city car park, but felt uncomfortable and then found this place. €23 was too much for us, and everything was packed tightly together. Great for walking into the city. A warm shower costs €1 for 3 minutes. It was also very quiet at night for sleeping. All the staff were very nice.Translating
Perfectly located for visiting the city; everything is within walking distance. The site is guarded 24/7. Services are included except for showers, which cost €1 for 3 minutes—somewhat expensive. You are parked very close together on asphalt, unless you do not need electricity; then you can choose a rear space in the shaded “green” area. Overall it was worthwhile and we felt very safe.Translating
Hard to rate. After the ferry from Palermo at 10 p.m., there was practically no alternative. We were still accepted. Everything was completely full. We showered at 6 a.m. Everything was clean and hot. We stood behind the asphalt area on a slight slope. It was okay. A real emergency site. €20 without electricity.Translating
A car park in a major city. It has a clean sanitary container and is in the city, where I can reach many things on foot. Close to the port and the lively life of Cagliari, and you can park SAFELY with friendly staff. We would come back! It is logical that you stand close together in this situation!
You park without private space, one on top of another. Arrivals are possible at any time of night after the ferry arrives. It is useful in a pinch. €33 per night with electricity. They check the motorhome’s length at the entrance. No trees.
We were here to visit Cagliari. For that, this place is perfect. Very important: even if you are assigned a pitch, you do not have to accept it. We were initially supposed to park in the furthest corner uphill, but after complaining we got one of the front, level spaces. The staff are friendly; the manager is great and has everything under control.
The great advantage is that you are within walking distance of the old town. Otherwise, it is basically a large car park with one camper next to another. Sanitary facilities are very limited and insufficient for the number of guests. Electricity is outrageously expensive.
A motorhome pitch in the middle of Cagliari city. The staff were very friendly to us and accommodated all our requests. The sanitary facilities are clean; there are showers, which we did not use, a washing machine and dryer, waste disposal, and electricity on request. The site is staffed 24/7 and monitored by video, which made us feel safe while visiting the city. We were very surprised by how quiet it was at night. €23 for two people with a van is absolutely fair. Fifteen minutes on foot to the historic centre and bastion. A worry-free stay! Thank you!
It is a car park with container toilets and showers. That is all it can be called. €23 for one night without electricity is okay. Well lit, with a sports field next door; otherwise quiet. The centre is 20–30 minutes on foot. The grounds are not lovingly maintained, but the staff are good at selling it, are at least friendly, and it is safe. With a rooftop-tent camper, we were allowed to park in the “garden”, a dried-out, dirty lawn.
Completely sufficient for seeing the city. Showers cost €1 for 3 minutes. The centre is within walking distance, and there is also a bus stop just around the corner. Shopping facilities are available too.
Basically a car park; okay if you want to see Cagliari and stay overnight. We used it as a daytime parking area and quickly fled Cagliari—there are nicer places in Sardinia.
Very good for a pitch in the city. Very clean toilets and showers. The staff were friendly. €23 per night without electricity. The city is easily reachable on foot. Rather few restaurants nearby. Pummarola, on Vico Logudoro, about a 15-minute walk away, is recommended.
Five stars because there is no other choice. All the car parks in the city are full. It is a car park where you are packed in like on the ferry! The city centre is not very far, but it is not worth it. €23 with all services is not expensive. Do not arrive too late; even in the off-season it is full.
Overcrowded area! You are packed in like sardines, but very close to the centre—that is its only advantage. There are stadiums behind it, seagulls and cramped conditions... The young attendants are very pleasant, helpful and speak several languages.
Very good for a pitch in the city. Very clean toilets and showers. The motorhome wash for €40 was excellent! We felt very safe, with 24/7 surveillance, cameras and an alarm system. The city is within walking distance, yet it is reasonably quiet.
I completely agree with the previous comment. On the other hand, you are packed in like sardines. The €10 electricity surcharge is outrageous, especially since the power is only 1,500 watts.
Well-located area in the city centre. Supervised parking. Welcoming staff. Thanks to Baïlo, always smiling and providing information in French.
Apparently, the tariffs are a matter of luck. The staff member obviously did not like us. In conclusion: unfortunately, it is the only central guarded site. The guys know that too... We stayed somewhat reluctantly, although the price was much higher than stated online and on the notices, and the staff member was totally cheeky.
Very centrally located. We paid €33 for electricity and the pitch; cash only. I did not use the shower; otherwise, they are containers. The pitch is always illuminated, and behind it there is a paddle facility and football field.
The location is excellent and the site is well guarded. At €23 without electricity, the price is reasonable. You can reach central Cagliari very quickly and have everything you need nearby. Definitely recommended for visiting the city.
It does the job. Well located in the city centre. We paid €23 for one night in a van without electricity. We recommend it.
Quite central in the city and well secured. Sanitary facilities clean, shower €1 per minute for hot water. Very friendly staff. We stayed one night with the rooftop tent open.
For us, the night costs €23 without electricity. Otherwise, tutto bene ;)
We felt very safe here, unlike at other places in Cagliari. We paid only €33 including electricity, wastewater and fresh water. Toilets and showers are basic but clean.
Perfect location for exploring the city. Every service costs extra. I find €10 per day for electricity somewhat excessive, but you do not have to use it. The washing machines are not particularly well maintained either and are quite expensive. The staff are not always overly friendly, but they are very helpful.
Well located in relation to the port and old town. Clean sanitary facilities. Two washer-dryers in good condition. Friendly welcome. Be careful: departure before noon. The spaces are not large, but you cannot blame them for that when you are in the city.
This is an excellent site. Perfect location and the staff couldn’t be nicer and more welcoming. They are excellent and smiling the whole time.
