Nothing special, £15, double booked but still space elsewhere
Magnificent site. But we arrived in the middle of the night and all the spaces were occupied, so it was impossible to use the parking area in front of the restaurant because it was closed. We paid at the machine but woke up with a £50 fine.
Had a good night sleep quiet but lots of rabbits my dog was going crazy.
Lovely spot, but to be safe, book in advance. We were lucky to get a space when we arrived without booking. Great restaurant next door. The fish and chips were top-notch.
Arrived at 19:00; only one other van. Great spot, £12 for 24 hours. Excellent sandwich at Salty Water Cafe in the village.
So easy. We rocked up about 5pm and scanned the code on the empty Bay2. Simple to navigate website for Northumberland Council and paid £12. Lots of dog walkers and even horses arriving for a very blustery beach walk the next morning. The Landings opposite looked inviting and busy even though we didn’t use it. Highly recommend to use and pay the price for the facility.
We parked on bay 1 and was going to pay the £21 via the QR code when someone pulled up and said that we were on their pitch so we drove across the road and parked opposite the Landing Bar, it’s £20 and you get 10 percent off food and drinks in the pub. If you want to stay longer you need to pay via app. No hassle.
Peaceful night, toilets open 24 hours, on the coastal path. Booking ahead is advisable.
Brilliant !! Easy to find. Good sized bays. Toilets open 24/7 and clean. Beautiful beach a stones throw way ..
Really nice spot right next to the beach. Booked bay 1 via Northumberland Council the day before, from 6 pm to 8 am. Overnight £12. One hour free in the morning. Great meal at The Landings. There are public toilets. The takeaway Pizza Hut smelled nice.
Booked a motorhome pitch 24 hrs before arrival. good level pitch no4. 50m from the see. restaurant about 50m away. Public toilets at end of car park. Can't fault the place for £12. Fabulous beach. Bins right next to pitches. Slept well and no disruptions.
Cracking beachside location, but we were put off by the haphazard parking system - cars and vans everywhere ! note: immediately across the road, the landing bar has a deal to allow campervans in the car park opposite them = £20, but 10% off food and drinks in the landing.
Top tip; if you arrive at 6 pm, or afterwards and somebody is in your space, you have a right to park in any other space in that overflow car park, so long as you are not causing an obstruction, if you have the booking confirmation, then you will not be fined or allowed to be given a ticket. This avoids any confrontation with people who may be parked in your space.
Quiet location, very easy to book, didn’t was we were driving up. Nicely spaced for overnight stops. Good value.
Booked online, on the day. Had a pint in The Landing opposite. Quiet in the night, good signal and public toilet open all night. Parking for the beach is expensive - 6.50 for 4 hrs, 9 for all day. One hour free
