Riverside beach, noisy rough access

Very beautiful spot with plenty of space, but be careful: it is very popular with local young people who party at night. Bring earplugs.

Very pleasant and quiet place. A few locals were there, but they were very discreet and left at the end of the day. The river is very pleasant and refreshing. No litter when we visited; I would say the place was fairly clean, and there were no mosquitoes either. We heard a few hunters this morning, but they were far enough away not to disturb us or our dog. Recommended.

Extraordinary place that I loved. The flow of the water, the rocks enhanced by the sunset, the fresh water where you can swim, and the smell of the pine trees all around. The only drawback is the amount of litter left behind. What a shame! Be careful, the access road is very steep; it was slightly difficult to get out with the motorhome. It is more suitable for vans and panel vans.

If you like partygoers with a bag of weed in the van, this is the place to go. Otherwise, beautiful place.

Very beautiful spot beside the Loire, wooded and clean. Swimming and fishing are possible. Lots of people during the day for swimming, fewer at night. We had a big techno party for two nights in a row… If you want peace and quiet, this is not the right place! Be careful: fires are forbidden.

Very beautiful place and atmosphere.

A lovely spot with a small beach by the river. We arrived in the early evening and there was one other camper. Some cars continued to come and go during the evening, but it did not bother us at all. The next day we spent half a day at the beach and were completely alone. Steep descent, but certainly manageable with a small camper.

Meeting spot for men looking for men!

Super-quiet place in the middle of nature, beside the water with small beaches. We spent a very peaceful night there, lulled by birds and the sound of water.

Beautiful spot, good to swim, clean and quiet. Be careful, the road down is very steep and fairly broken at the bottom. I made it down easy with almost no ground clearance. But going back up took many attempts. You need 4x4 or alot of velocity, which is hard to gain since the road is so rough. Park by the bridge and walk down to to check it before you decide if you want to go there.

Be careful: the access path has a hole about 30 cm deep, making it impossible to descend without damaging the underbody and tanks! Our van is only 6 m long. We had to reverse like mad on a severe slope, which made the engine smoke!

Wonderful spot with refreshing access to the river. Very popular with locals and travellers; it is recommended to arrive early in the day or later, once the locals have left. The access path is quite steep with deep ruts, but everyone gets through without too much trouble. Quite a lot of insects after dark; we had to eat inside.
