Riverside area, free electricity

We were there 12 days ago and the area is very good, but as I say, the problem is not whether you travel in a caravan, camper, truck or motorhome—they are all mobile homes. The problem is people who do not respect the rules, each for one reason or another. The result is that we give a bad impression wherever we go and are unhappy with everything. Many thanks to this municipality for these facilities.

Thanks to the village of Baralla; you could not ask for more. Free motorhome area providing all services free of charge. Spacious, level pitches, water, grey- and black-water drainage, electricity. It is also in a beautiful setting beside the river, with picnic tables, a football pitch, basketball court and large lawns. The municipal swimming pool is next door. Everything is pleasant and clean. Highly recommended.

Excellent area, with water and free electricity connections at the pitches, which are large and level. Located beside a shady park with tables and barbecue grills. The village has many services: pharmacy, supermarkets, bakery and cafés. We spent a peaceful, quiet and cool night.

As a place, quite good. For me, the issue is that it is practically within a populated area. Motorhome services, water and electricity. A snack bar and public swimming pool nearby, plus a riverside path and wooded picnic area. I am not giving it four stars because the parking area has no shade at all.

What a shame! There is nobody supervising. Dog owners let their dogs run loose and do not pick up their mess. It is outrageous that caravans with cars occupy motorhome spaces and nobody comes to monitor it. The place is being neglected.

I share the previous reviewer’s sadness and shame: a magnificent place, but occupied by cars and caravans staying for more than three days. The town hall should get involved; nobody controls it. What a shame, I am sorry.

Extraordinary and well maintained.

The same motorhomes stay for days and days without moving. The town hall should take action. Free electricity is the scourge; they will end up removing it.

The area is almost perfect. Services and electricity, with fountains close to the pitches. Opposite is the river and a barbecue area with tables and plenty of shade; however, the vehicles remain in the sun all day. The downside is that it is frequented almost exclusively by very elderly, very posh couples who stay too many days because they love having free electricity!

Area with many facilities, very well maintained and well lit. Try to arrive early because it fills up. Excellent recreational area next door with many leisure facilities.

A lovely site and popular. Free services and electric. We spent a quiet night here. There's a small tree filled park beside the site where we and the other vaners sat out, it also has built BBQs and sport pitches.  I wish they could all be like this one!

Perfect for the night and a walk during the day. A thoughtful gesture by the town hall to provide free electricity points; I have been travelling around the area for 10 days and that is not common at all. A regular visitor told me that if you arrive and there is no electricity, you can call the town hall and someone will come to activate it.

I would say it is one of the best free areas in the whole country. It has everything you need in wonderful surroundings.

I am not giving it five stars but ten! Thanks to the town hall and its residents for such a phenomenal welcome! Motorhome users, please leave everything as you found it.

Excellent area, completely level and with electricity for everyone, beside a park with beautiful views. The village is a few metres away. The rubbish bins are in the park and very well camouflaged. Thanks, Baralla; we will return.

We spent three wonderful days and spent money in the village on the laundrette, clothing shop, Cristina’s hair salon, bakeries, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, as well as at the octopus festival. A wonderful village with everything you need. Many thanks, Baralla; we will return. Canarians on the road.

Absolutely spectacular area, with all services including electricity. Camera surveillance and the Civil Guard station next door. Beside a riverside recreation area with a swimming pool. Very small village with limited services, but there is a supermarket and bars with a good atmosphere and affordable prices. Near the area there are incredible things to see, such as a church with 12th-century paintings.

Area with all services in a quiet location. The bakery is 100 metres away and has delicious empanadas. I will return.

Very good, clean and well-equipped pitch. It is very generous of the Baralla municipality to provide this facility. Tomorrow I will shop at a local business to show my appreciation for this excellent offer.

Top spot including electricity, half empty on Fridays and almost full on Saturdays :) Park with benches opposite. Great for walking the dogs along the stream, everything very well maintained. Self-service laundrette five minutes away. Easy access. Thanks, Baralla, for this fantastic free pitch!
