Large, very calm parking area at the start of the hike to Charvin Lake, reached by a narrow paved mountain road. It is heavily shaded, with picnic tables and a stream nearby. The ground is uneven and often sloping, making it difficult to find a level place. Beautiful hikes start from here.

Quite large parking area, very shady. Difficult to find a spot that isn't too steep.
