Been here?
A peaceful private aire 2 miles inland from Port William, with grass areas, paths and a woodland grove. Facilities include basic waste disposal, a rainwater tank and drinking water at the owner’s house 250 m along the road. Hardstanding is limited and slightly sloped, and the site is best suited to vehicles under 6.5 m. The nearby village has cafés, shops, a playground, garage, harbour, swimming, fishing, promenades and a cycle path.

An ideal location well away from habitation. Basic waste disposal tank and rain water tank. Small hard standing on slight slope. Plenty of room on grass area. Nicely laid out paths and a woodland grove. Very relaxing.Translating
Wonderful peaceful spot as long as your van is less than 6.5 m. Drinking water is at the owner’s house 250 m along the road with other facilities on site. The ground is a bit uneven and hardstanding is limited but we had a perfect night staying here. It is definitely not used enough so, if you’re in the area and it suits you, please try and use it so as not to lose it.Translating
Great idea, unfortunately the opening was not large enough for us. Small vans only recommended. The road leading up to the area is very rough.Translating
Sweet idea and much appreciated, we need more of these in Scotland! Downsides are water comes from a rain collector - and is not drinking water, also it relies on gravity so no good to fill motorhome. Also same tap for loo disposal. Tight turn for larger vehicles. Homemade chutney available. We didn’t stay the night but mostly on a slope. As I say great idea, but needs a few improvements! Translating
