Small, clean parking area with picnic benches under trees, directly beside the Elbe-Seitenkanal. It is very quiet and suits an overnight stay, with occasional anglers, dog walkers and pedestrians. Hiking and cycling routes start nearby. Mobile, internet and DVB-T reception are poor or unavailable.

Quiet place directly beside the Elbe Lateral Canal. Clean, with benches under trees. Access via Knesebeck.
Great little spot!!! It doesn't get quieter than this!!! We stayed here overnight and enjoyed the silence! I would stop here again immediately. Recommended for those who don't need mobile phone, GPS, or satellite reception!! ;) You get one bar at the water ;)
Great spot in nature. I doubt we're allowed to drive through the forest, but I'll come back. Please keep it clean.
Very nice, paved parking area. Extremely quiet. In the morning there were a few dog walkers. Unfortunately, we were there during sleet and couldn't use the several picnic benches.
Cleaner, secluded place.
