Valley viewpoint, quiet nights

I give this spot “only” four stars because there is a better one a few metres farther up. That one is listed as requiring 4x4, which is not strictly necessary! I drove up easily in my two-wheel-drive VW T4. A little bumpy but relatively easy. Better view!✦Translating

Recommended! The place is marked as a lookout point and does not disappoint. Beautiful views over the Rioja Valley, mountains and starry sky. The road beside it is almost unused at night, and we were the only ones camping here in October.✦Translating

Quiet place for spending the night, despite being next to the road, as very few cars pass. Incredible views. It could use some shade, and there are quite a lot of mosquitoes.✦Translating

Secluded spot high above Rioja with panoramic views. We were alone and undisturbed. The road some distance away has little traffic during the day and practically none at night. We took away and disposed of the small amount of rubbish lying around. We slept wonderfully. Highly recommended.✦Translating
